About Dance Attitudes

Dance Attitudes, located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, has been a vibrant hub for dance enthusiasts since its founding in 2002. Led by passionate Co-Directors Katie Mazzeo and Kelly Smith, who bring over 75 years of combined experience, the studio fosters a love for dance in a fun, supportive, and nurturing environment. Offering programs for all ages, from 2 to adult, Dance Attitudes welcomes both recreational dancers and aspiring professionals. Their comprehensive curriculum includes foundational styles such as Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Acrobatics, and Lyrical dance, ensuring a diverse range of artistic exploration. Classes run weekly from September through June, culminating in an annual recital where students can showcase their progress, with past performance venues including Walt Disney World and Carnival Cruise Ships. The studio emphasizes affordable classes, making high-quality dance education accessible to everyone. Dance Attitudes is also home to the award-winning "All Stars" competition team, offering select dancers advanced training and performance opportunities. The dedicated staff, including All Star Choreographers Bethany, Hunter, Jess, Michelle, Jordan, Rilee, McKen-Z, Caroline, Isabella, Cheyanne, Julia, and Evelyse, along with PreDance Staff Rianna and Emma, are committed to guiding students and inspiring a passion for movement and performance, creating lasting memories through the art of dance within the Pawtucket community.
