South Carolina Dance Theatre

Placement is based upon dance capabilities and experience. Placement in Company levels is up to the judges and ultimately the Artistic Director.

Dancers must be neatly dressed, following the Company rules for makeup, dress, and hair styling for classes and performances. Company colors are as follows: Light Pink leotards.

Dancers must be neatly dressed, following the Company rules for makeup, dress, and hair styling for classes and performances. Company colors are as follows: Navy Blue leotards.

Dancers must be neatly dressed, following the Company rules for makeup, dress, and hair styling for classes and performances. Company colors are as follows: Black leotards.

Company Members are required to take a set minimum number of classes per week. The Company schedule is structured as follows: SCDT 4 - Two (2) classes per week.

The South Carolina Dance Theatre is a pre-professional ballet company which emphasizes education and training for dancers in a professional setting with skilled instruction.

preparatory classes are offered for younger dancers seeking to develop excellence in ballet training and to provide opportunities for experience in the performing arts.
