Private lessons are a great way for your dancer to have one-on-one attention to help refine their skills, get a head start for the upcoming dance season, or to learn a new style! All dancers ages 7 and older of all skill levels are welcome to book a private lesson with one of our qualified instructors regardless of the dancer's prior training.

Tuesdays during July
Guitar Lessons
$15.00

Julianna will teach your student to read sheet music and chord progressions. The student will learn the anatomy of the guitar, how to tune the guitar, and how to play the guitar. Julianna will personally create lesson plans around your student based on the student's ability and music tastes. Lessons available for students age 5 to adult. All experience levels welcome!

Dance

Kayla Perito has studied under Deanna Patterson Cobb since 2004 as a student and teaching assistant. She started working as the studio secretary in 2015. Kayla has worked her way up from the rank of teaching assistant to instructor. She is a member of the senior company at the Patterson School of Dance and is a member of the Patterson School of Dance's performance group that travels throughout the southeast performing at festivals, galas, and other special events. Kayla was a part of the Lugoff-Elgin Marching Pride and continues to stay involved in the arts.

Ballet, Tap, Jazz

Julianna Cobb has trained in all styles of dance under Deanna Patterson Cobb since 1994. She is a member of the senior company at the Patterson School of Dance and has worked her way up from the rank of teaching assistant to instructor. She has appeared in numerous stage productions, including Oklahoma! and the Carolina Ballet’s The Nutcracker. She has been a part of several award-winning competitive teams at the Patterson School of Dance and is a member of the Patterson School of Dance’s performance group that travels throughout the southeast performing at festivals, galas, and other special events. She has also studied under many other international master teachers.

Adult Classes

Dress Code for Adult Tap and Adult Jazz classes. Leotard and tights are optional. Leggings/dance pants with workout tops are allowed. Tap students wear tan 1.5 inch heel tap shoes. Jazz students wear tan slip-on jazz shoes.

Tumbling (All levels)

Dress Code for all level tumbling students. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan transitional or footless tights. Gentlemen must wear black dance shorts and a white fitted tshirt. Students do not wear shoes for tumbling classes.

Lyrical (All levels)

Dress Code for students in all level lyrical classes. Ladies wear tan pedini style lyrical shoes. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan tights to class. Gentlemen must wear black pants/shorts and a white tshirt for classes. Gentlemen wear black slip on or lace up jazz shoes for lyrical classes.

Hip Hop (All levels)

Dress Code for all level hip hop students (male and female). All students wear black split sole dance sneakers. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan tights for class. Gentlemen must wear black pants/shorts and a white tshirt for class.

Senior Jazz

Dress Code for students in senior level jazz classes. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan tights for jazz classes. Ladies wear tan slip on jazz shoes for jazz classes.Gentlemen must wear black pants/shorts and a white tshirt for classes. Gentlemen wear black slip on or lace up jazz shoes for lyrical classes.

Senior Ballet

Dress Code for students in senior level ballet classes. Ladies must wear a black leotard and pink tights to ballet classes. Ladies should bring pink ballet flats to class and their pointe shoes to every class. Pointe shoes are allowed ONLY AFTER instructor permission. Gentlemen must wear black pants/shorts and a white tshirt for classes. Gentlemen wear black ballet slippers.

Senior Tap

Dress code for students in senior level tap classes. Ladies wear 2-2.5 inch heel tap shoes. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan tights to tap classes.Gentlemen must wear black pants/shorts and a white tshirt for classes. Gentlemen wear black lace up tap shoes.

Junior Jazz

Dress Code for students in junior level jazz classes. Ladies must wear a black leotard and tan tights for jazz classes.
