Acro Arts Company, located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, offers a unique fusion of dance and gymnastics, blending the grace of dance with the power and control of gymnastics. We are dedicated to cultivating talent in acrobatic arts for a wide range of ages, starting from 5.5 years old and extending to advanced levels. Our specialized Acro training program builds a strong foundation in strength, flexibility, balance, and overall fitness, developing essential acrobatic skills such as handstands, cartwheels, and aerials, integrated with dance elements like leaps, turns, and ballet technique. Students progress through clearly defined levels: Beginner, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, and Advanced Acro, moving from foundational techniques to complex 'acro tricks'. We offer dynamic training environments with engaging programs like our highly popular Acro Camp for young athletes aged 6-12, focusing on strength, flexibility, acro technique, and tumbling skills in a fun, safe, and technically sound environment. Participants in the Acro Camp receive a medal upon completion, celebrating their progress. Summer Programs extend learning opportunities beyond the academic year. Acro Arts Company also highlights its annual May Showcase of Skills, providing a platform for students to display their progress, and offers a pathway to join our competitive program for serious dancers. Our studio fosters a supportive and challenging environment, enhancing a dancer's physical capabilities and performance artistry.
