Lesa's School of Dance

The award winning dance team known as the "Dazzling Dance Company" is a competitive dance group. The "Dazzling Dance Company" has won numerous awards both locally and nationally. Should competition be of interest to you, please contact Lesa for more information.

Also called tumbling, acrobatics is an extension of gymnastics using only the mats. Students begin with the basics ad progress as their ability warrants. This is not a class regulated by age. Some younger students can do as much as the older, an the older students may be restricted in their capabilities.

Jazz comes in many forms. This class consist of stretching, turns, leaps, combination work, and jazz composition.

Tap teaches rhythm and timing. This class is fun, energetic, and a great workout. Students will find tap to be challenging, yet very rewarding.

The fluid movement and discipline of Ballet aids the student in a more rapid progression in all forms of dance. The class consists of center floor in adaige and allegro, turns, leaps, combination work, and ballet composition. Ballet is required for each student who wished to be in Spring Performance.

Class consists of Tap, pre-ballet, and tumbling. The combo class is designed to provide the student with the benefit of two dance subjects, along with a small introductory to tumbling in a one hour class.

Class consists of introduction to dance, rhythm, and tumbling. It builds coordination, enhances motor skills, skipping, turning, teaches line direction, and prepares the student for advancement.
