About Rejoice School of Ballet

Rejoice School of Ballet, nestled in Nashville, Tennessee, has been a premier destination for dance education since its founding in 1998 by Patricia Cross. For nearly 25 years, Rejoice has championed accessible and affordable classical ballet training for dancers ages 4-18, while also exploring other disciplines that foster creativity and build confidence. Dedicated to dismantling financial barriers, the studio offers sliding-scale tuition, need-based scholarships, and even free ballet uniforms and costumes, ensuring inclusivity and a welcoming environment rooted in Christian principles. With a professional faculty committed to mentoring each student, Rejoice provides exceptional dance training to over 200 students annually. Programs are available at their main East Nashville location and partner sites at Smith Springs and Hadley Park Community Centers, serving East Nashville, Antioch, and North Nashville. The Children's Division (ages 4-10) introduces foundational ballet concepts, while the Ballet Division (ages 8-18, with prior experience for ages 9+) offers more rigorous classical training. Students also have performance opportunities through annual showcases and the Rejoice Youth Ensemble, with potential to audition for productions with organizations like Nashville Ballet and Centennial Youth Ballet. Rejoice School of Ballet believes in the transformative power of dance, equipping students with discipline, resilience, and lifelong friendships, preparing them for success in all future endeavors.
