About Evenground Dance Studio

Evenground Dance Studio, located in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas, is a premier street-style dance hub founded in 2023 with the mission of fostering connection through movement. Building on founder Chris Han's collegiate dance experiences and his co-founding of "The Space" in 2018, Evenground offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals aged 13 and above. The studio serves as a "Third Place" for the Austin community, providing a space to gather, bond, and train. Evenground champions a diverse range of dance styles, including choreography, KPOP, freestyle, and contemporary, catering to all levels from Beginner to Intermediate/Advanced and Open Level. Beyond weekly classes, Evenground cultivates talent through dedicated "Studio Teams" offering intensive training, performance, and competition opportunities, exemplified by the development of the adult competitive team, Project A. The studio also makes its well-equipped space, featuring mirrors, a powerful sound system, professional lighting, and a comfortable lounge, available for rent for rehearsals, auditions, and video shoots. Evenground Dance Studio is committed to elevating the craft of its students, promoting creativity, cultivation, and opportunity within a strong dance community.

These classes are suited for dancers with moderate experience who feel comfortable in a class setting and want to learn more complex movements that combine many fundamentals learned in the beginner classes.

Beginner/Intermediate

This class is suited for dancers with little to moderate experience who feel comfortable in a class setting and is open to being introduced to slightly more complex movements and/or longer choreography.
