Children who attend ballet classes in Pearland, TX, quickly develop rhythm, coordination, confidence, body awareness, physical strength, flexibility, mental focus, posture, creativity, and discipline. It’s incredibly fulfilling for children, and it just so happens that most kids love it too!

With our ‘Tippy Toes’ classes, your child can start ballet as young as two years of age. If your little one is eager to get moving and often entertains friends and family, ballet provides them with an outlet to thrive.

We pride ourselves on our range of services, and this means children can choose between Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acro, Jazz, and more. So, why should you choose ballet for your child?

Ballet is a popular option for young children, and our ballet classes in Pearland, TX, are designed to bring the best out of every child! At Chara Christian Dance Academy, we don’t just teach dance and music, we aim to instill character, self-appreciation, and confidence in every child.

Private lessons are an opportunity for dancers to receive one-on-one individualized attention from a teacher to meet their personal goals. Dancers can attend Private lessons once, recurring weekly or bi-weekly. These are especially beneficial for dancers who need additional help with choreography in preparation for an upcoming performance or preparing for an audition.

This Pearland program will be designed for students ages 14+ with special needs who want independence in the classroom. Students will learn Hip Hop/ Jazz dance skills, while building overall body strength and coordination.

DanceABILITIES is a class for students ages 10+ with special needs who are ready for more independence in the classroom. They must have completed a year of Darby’s Dancers and/or be recommended by the teacher to join this class. Students will learn Hip Hop/ Jazz dance skills, while building overall body strength and coordination.

Darby’s Dancers is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the joy of the performing arts to children and adults with special needs. These dancers gain coordination, confidence, strength and life long friends, all while feeling like a star. Each dancer is paired with a “Buddy” for the year that assists them throughout the class. Dancers are able to take classes at no cost due to the group’s fundraising efforts that help provide costuming and cover recital expenses.

Bloom is a faith-based learning environment for children ages 3 to 6. We provide developmentally appropriate activities that promote intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. In class, students will explore shapes, name and letter recognition, writing, calendar, weather, numbers and counting, and an introduction to Spanish! Bloom curriculum is designed to help teachers meet each child at the level they are at as we explore and learn in the classroom setting. Participants must be potty trained to participate in Bloom at Chara.
