Rio Grand Valley Arts Studio, located in the heart of Harlingen, Texas, is a vibrant hub for artistic expression, offering a comprehensive range of classes for all ages and experience levels. Dedicated to cultivating movement, rhythm, and confidence, our robust dance program builds strong technique, fosters stage presence, and encourages safe progression from beginner to advanced students. We are proud to offer a positive and growth-oriented environment for those dancing for enjoyment, fitness, or performance. Our accomplished instructors lead the way, including Lori Rodgers, Artistic Director and Owner, and Yvette Reyes, Studio Manager. Supporting our dance students are talented instructors Madeline Luaces and Erica Gomez, with Sandy Karthman specifically leading Acro Dance instruction, aligning with our supported style of Acrobatics. Emily Garcia is our dedicated Children Dance Instructor. Rio Grand Valley Arts Studio also provides classes for youth, junior youth, teens, and adults, ensuring a pathway for lifelong engagement with dance. Beyond dance, we proudly feature engaging programs in Music, Art, Martial Arts, and Yoga, with noted instructors such as Blanca Olvera (Voice & Piano), Christina McCameron (Student Piano), Oneida Trevino (Art), and Michael Marks (Guitar, Piano, Percussion). We foster community through special events like the Spring Gala and Christmas Pageant, where students showcase their artistry, highlighting the importance of ballet in storytelling.
