Academy of Gymnastics & Dance

Academy of Gymnastics and Dance not only offers a space for your cheer and dance teams to practice, but offers camps and choreography for games and performances. Our instructors can travel to your facility or you can book in-house camps and choreography.

Our competitive dance program, Academy Dance Elite, competes at statewide competitions and headlines our Spring Recital. They also perform locally at seasonal events. Academy Dance Elite members train year round and work to achieve excellence in technique, showmanship and personal character. Sign ups for ADE are after recital and through the first part of the summer.

1-on-1 private lessons are 30 minutes per week and have 1 instructor/coach and 1 student. This offers the most individualized training experience.

Semi-private lessons are 30 minutes per week and have 1 instructor/coach and up to 3 students. This allows for focused attention in a small group setting.

Our private and semi-private lessons are offered in all styles of dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. This option provides personalized instruction tailored to individual needs.

-7 & Up Intermediate Technique- This class is for students wanting to focus on ballet technique. -Advanced/Pointe- This class is for students ages 10 and up that have had ballet training. Pointe shoes are not required. Adults are welcome.

Our acro is artistry based. Skills are taught with the intent of being incorporated into dance with transitions that flow with choreography. Level 1- cannot cartwheel or standing backbend without a spot (minimum age 5) Level 2- can cartwheel and standing backbend without a spot Level 3- can cartwheel, standing backbend, front walkover and back walkover without a spot

Contemporary and Jazz for your middle and high school aged child. This class will prepare you for 7th and 8th Grade Drill Team through technique, across the floor work, leaps and turns. Center work will introduce new steps and combinations in the various styles of dance.

Tumbling for all age groups involve basics such as forward rolls, handstands, and cartwheels and progresses to advanced tumbling skills such as back handsprings, back tucks. The studio is filled with state of the art equipment to maximize a student’s work out.

This class teaches cheers, chants, and jumps along with cheer style hip hop dance as well as gymnastics. This class has numerous instructors to divide up various gymnastic ability levels.

This class teaches jazz and hip hop. We start with basic skills and move to more advanced skills through the year. This class also helps prepare its students for school dance and drill tryouts through kick technique.

This class is for older dance students wanting to refine their technical ballet skills. You are not required to train on pointe in order to take this class.

Focuses on ballet technique including barre, across the floor and center work.

This class teaches lyrical, tap, and jazz. We start with basic skills and move to more advanced skills through the year.

This is a class of hip hop and gymnastics. This class has numerous instructors for the gymnastics to divide up ability levels.

This class teaches jazz and hip hop movement and rhythm and basic gymnastics skills. This class is perfect for the high energy, music-loving child!

In this class, students will learn cheers, chants, and across the floor spiriting along with some jazz and hip-hop dance. We end the class with 30 minutes of gymnastics. If your child is active, energetic, and has interest in becoming a cheerleader, this is the perfect class.

Ballet, tap & jazz for your little dancer. This hour long class will teach your child technique from all 3 genres of dance.

Combo is our most popular class. In this class, we do ballet, tap, and gymnastics for 1 hour. It introduces them to both dance and gymnastics. We cover all motor skills such as hopping, skipping, and jumping with basic ballet positions and beginner movement and rhythms.

In this class, students will learn cheers, chants, and across the floor spiriting along with some jazz and hip-hop dance. We end the class with gymnastics. If your child is active, energetic, and has interest in becoming a cheerleader, this is the perfect class.

Ballet, tap and jazz for your little dancer. It introduces students to ballet to begin working on technique, tap to begin working on rhythm and jazz to begin working on stage presence. Basic motor skills and flexibility are also part of our curriculum.

Combo is our most popular class. In this class, we do ballet, tap, and gymnastics. It introduces them to both dance and gymnastics. We cover all motor skills such as hopping, skipping, and jumping with basic ballet positions and beginner movement and rhythms.

This class will teach basic stretching, rhythm, and movement. This is a fun way for a child and family member to bond while learning basic dance and gymnastics skills. A parent or guardian must stay with the child during class.
