We are excited to provide a space for worship at Arise Dance Academy! Children and their parents are able to join practices two times monthly and Worship Jesus!

Our small group tutoring classes give your child what they want, and what they need! Movement! We want to close the gaps before your child reaches 4th grade so that their foundation is STRONG and dependable for reading, writing, and math skills.

This refers to all dance classes that are scheduled for a duration of 1 hour per session. These classes are part of the regular monthly tuition.

Creative Movement is a 30 minute class offered by Arise Dance Academy as part of their monthly tuition options.

Elite Team consists of students ages 12+. This is an extremely competitive/performance dance company where students train in Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary genres, and also might be looking for agent representation and/or professional - level dance opportunities. Students might range from beginner to intermediate level when auditioning, but will transform into elite performers. Our company promotes empowerment, ambition, individuality, hard work, and self - worth through the love of dance. This team will have several performances and competitions annually.

Junior Team, ages 10-12. This is a great option for beginner to intermediate dancers who want to train in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, and love performing more than competing. These students are true performers who will share their love of dance with the world and empower other people with their artistry. This team will have several performances and competitions annually.

Mini Team consists of students ages 6 -9. This is a great option for beginner to intermediate dancers who will train in Ballet, Jazz, Pom, and Contemporary genres and also might be looking for agent representation and/or professional - level dance opportunities. Students might range from beginner to intermediate level when auditioning. This team will have several performances and competitions annually.

Hip Hop dance includes a wide range of styles, notably breaking, locking, and popping. Students in these classes will work on building a strong core, and their own individual style of dance. Older age groups that have more dance experience will work on group stunts and tricks as well as individual dance moves. We only use clean and energetic music for these classes.

This class is an exciting introduction for kids to the world of Jazz with its dynamic rhythms, playful improvisations, and infectious energy. It encourages creativity, exploration, and self-expression, making it a fun and engaging way for children to connect with music. This is beginner-intermediate friendly. These classes introduce creative choreography, and has 20 minutes of Tap practice during each class.

Motor skills are enhanced using a ballet and tap curriculum. Children will develop a sense of rhythm and expression. The use of fun props and upbeat music compliment the learning environment. Children are introduced to the history of ballet dance and build stamina for dance class routines. Ballet classes follow a traditional ballet class structure (barre, center, adagio, and allegro work). We will work on proper body placement and correct technique. Dancers will learn correct translations of French vocabulary, spelling, and dance history.

This class is tailored to our young dancers and focuses on developing large motor skills through creative movement with musical storytelling. (Think: jumping, hopping, leaping, balancing, and marching, as well as timing, rhythm, and spatial awareness).

This class will focus on encouraging Jazz, Tap, Singing, and Theater practices. Jazz and Tap dancing are high energy and require flexibility and stamina. It can be seen in movies, competitive dance, and musical theatre choreography. To excel , students need a strong dance technique and balance. This class is recommended as a second class to ballet , but can be a stand-alone class.

Our unique approach focuses on inspiring children to explore the exciting worlds of STEM, dance/tumbling, and musical theater. Designed for curious minds and energetic bodies, our program offers an engaging environment where young learners can discover science, dance and shine on stage with musical theater classes.
