Born from a passion for breakdancing, the studio founders cultivated a positive environment, initially teaching in their home basement before expanding to a dedicated studio space to accommodate growing demand. Embracing breakdancing as a foundational pillar of hip hop, Breakin Circles extends this philosophy to all its offerings. The robust curriculum includes Breakdance, Jazz, Hip Hop, and Contemporary, providing students with a well-rounded dance education designed to build confidence and foster self-expression. The studio's core philosophy, "Break Fears - Build Confidence," is realized through their unique teaching approach and passionate instructors, creating a supportive 'circle' where students can freely showcase their talents and develop skills with mutual respect and encouragement. Breakin Circles actively nurtures talent through competitive programs, including an all-girl breakin crew and a Hip Hop Competition Team for ages 7-16. The Hip Hop Competition Team commits to three hours of training weekly and participates in three annual competitions, alongside studio performances in December and May. The studio is also seeking passionate individuals aged 6-18 for its new company team.
