Character Dance

Character dance is an important element in classical training, enhancing expression and elasticity of the body. This class is strongly suggested for students in our Vaganova program.

Yoga Stretch

This class is designed to increase flexibility and strength in extended positions using exercises common to yoga. It is open to all students ages 10-adult.

Preparatory Class Levels

These preparatory class levels are age appropriate and feature exercises designed to prepare students for the rigorous demands of Level 1 study. Placement is at the discretion of CBF Faculty.

Level 1

Students in Ballet Level I are described. The Vaganova syllabus is an 8 year program of study for children aged 10-18.

Level 2

Students in Ballet Level II are described. The Vaganova syllabus is an 8 year program of study for children aged 10-18.

Level 3

This level corresponds to the Vaganova syllabus and represents a year of study within an 8 year program for children aged 10-18. Placement is at the discretion of CBF Faculty.
