The larger facility allowed us to include dance as well as drama instruction. Our basic goal, since our conception, has always been to expand our community’s cultural base.

Per month for Creative Dance (45 minutes)

Hampton Academy focuses on the fundamentals and discipline of dance. If you value small classes, affordable dance attire, and recitals that truly showcase your child's progress in a stress-free learning environment, then Hampton Academy is the place for you. We offer preschool dance classes for kids 3-5 years old. The classes are 45 minutes in length, due to the attention span of this age group. This “Creative Dance” class is a combination class that includes instruction in ballet, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Our theory is that by exposing kids to various dance styles, they will be more prepared to make informed decisions about the style they really like. Keeping in mind that ballet is the foundation of dance. This “Creative Dance” approach also applies to our next age group of kids 6-10 years old. As our students progress and want to move to a competitive stage, we will be happy to move in that direction.
