My choreography class starts with a warm up and explores a piece of choreography that is used as a tool to reinforce overarching execution based principles of dance with focuses in musicality, strength, lines, and core mobility.

My intro to Afrodance foundations class starts with a warm up, grooves and explores the culture in music, dance, and movement intention of Afro dance styles learning movement vocabulary and movement phrases.

June is a Zumba instructor with many years of experience teaching Zumba classes in the DMV area. June obtained her Zumba Instructor certification in 2018 after a few years as an avid student. Her style is high-energy, passionate and cheerful. She incorporates international dance styles including Latin rhythms, K-pop, C-pop, jazz, hip-hop, and belly dance into her beginner-friendly Zumba choreography, to encourage her students to sample new styles and develop their own flavors, while enjoying a great cardio workout. She is enthusiastic about cultivating a fitness community by engaging as a guest instructor for various events and celebrity master classes.
