Golden Slippers Dance Academy, a cornerstone of dance education in Virginia Beach, Virginia, has been fostering a love for movement and artistic expression since its establishment in 1978. Our dedicated and fully qualified instructors provide comprehensive dance training for students of all ages, from pre-school through advanced levels, guiding them from initial experiences to a complete understanding of dance. We offer a rich curriculum encompassing a diverse range of styles including ballet, tap, pointe, modern, lyrical, hip hop, jazz, ballroom, contemporary, and musical theater. Golden Slippers Dance Academy is proud to be a member of esteemed organizations such as Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, and the Professional Dance Teachers Association, upholding high standards in our programs. Our academy also features a strong competitive program, demonstrated by numerous awards and accolades achieved by our dancers in solo, duo/trio, small group, large group, line, and production categories across regional events like the Platinum Regional Competition and World Class Talent Experience Regional Competition during the 2025 season.
