Lisa's School of Performing Arts, located in Wytheville, Virginia, is a vibrant studio dedicated to cultivating a passion for dance and performing arts in students of all ages. With 39 years of teaching experience, Artistic Director Lisa Crowgey, a seasoned performer and judge, leads a talented faculty committed to nurturing artistry and growth. The curriculum offers a comprehensive range of dance disciplines, including foundational Ballet classes focusing on technique and expression, energetic Jazz, rhythmic Tap, and dynamic Hip Hop. For younger students, dedicated preschool classes build coordination and musicality. The studio also emphasizes physical development through Acrobatics and Tumbling programs, utilizing mats, balance beams, and trampolines. Musical Theater is another key offering, with Musical Director Rachel Crowgey Wilson, an alumna of Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre, bringing extensive choreography and performance expertise. Instructors Jenna Lefler and Sarah Osburn, alongside Brittany Jackson and Haley Newberry, contribute their dance and Hip Hop skills, many with experience in prestigious events like the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and performances with the Wythe Rhythm Competition team. Brittany Jackson also shares her passion for tap and has expanded her role to teaching gymnastics, drawing from her own performance history.
