Star Dance Company offers a combo class that includes tap, ballet, and jazz or tumbling. This class is designed for younger dancers to explore multiple styles.
TSDC Tumbling
Tumbling classes provide a safe place to learn the basics or work on advancing your skills as each student moves at his/her own pace. The instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration.
TSDC Cheer Company
The Studio Cheer Company is open to cheerleaders ages 5 and up. Our cheer program focuses on the fundamentals of cheer and dance in a fun, energetic and safe atmosphere. We strongly encourage being part of a team, making friends and giving your best to learn cheers, chants, dances, team and partner stunts.
Ballet en Pointe’
Our en pointe class is offered to students who have completed the pre-pointe class and have been instructed to advance in further developing and strengthening ballet technique. Class time will be spent in pointe shoes at the barre and center floor building strength and technique, and then moving across the floor, as well as in combinations. Leotards, leggings/tights, and a ballet skirt are required dress for this class. Pointe shoes, demi pointes or ballet shoes are required for this class. Information on shoe fittings can be given by instructors if needed.
Pre-Pointe Ballet Technique
This is a required class for dancers hoping to move on to pointe. Our pre pointe class is offered to students who are not yet on pointe, but are working toward it, to further develop and strengthen the muscles necessary to go en pointe. Dancers already en pointe or those wishing to improve overall skills will find this a perfect class to continue to develop strength and technique beyond what is provided in other classes. Much of class time will be spent bare foot at the barre and center floor building strength and technique, and then with ballet shoes, moving across the floor, as well as in combinations. Leotards, leggings/tights, ballet shoes and a ballet skirt are required dress for this class. Pointe shoes are NOT required for this class. Dancers should NOT attain pointe shoes until told to do so by the instructor. Dancers younger than 12 will NOT be given clearance to wear pointe shoes and should not do so.
Tap Only!
Rhythm and timing is a fantastic skill to learn that carries over into so many of the arts! Slip your tap shoes on and join us for an energetic and rhythmic adventure focused on listening skills, musicality, basics of tap, and movement. Dancers meet once per week through the dance season Sept-June working on tap fundamentals that will carry over into combinations and eventually a full routine! Tap Only will participate in The Studio Christmas Spectacular show as well as the year end recital. Class attire should be dance in nature (tighter fitting, leggings and tops preferred, non-baggy exercise clothing) with hair pulled back off the face. Black tap shoes are requested. Costume/prop purchases are required for participation in the recital(s).

TS Hip Hop Companies are open to dancers starting at age 4 1/2. Hip Hop is a loose jazz form sometimes referred to as funk and is often seen in music videos and in dance clubs. At The Studio, instructors work to teach upbeat, high-energy, and rhythmic combinations focusing on body isolations and smooth or sharp movements while allowing each dancer to express themselves as they “feel”. Music and choreography are always age appropriate and family friendly! Dancers meet once per week through the dance season. Classes for our tiniest dancers will be held in 2 week sessions. Dancers will work on basic skills in both ballet and tap. Classes meet twice per week in a 2 week block.
Tumble/Acro I
Classes will focus on building strength and stamina, new skills, and polishing existing tricks. Keep your body limber and muscles in shape by getting them moving in class! Classes will be separated by age and skill levels. Tumble/Acro I is open to beginning tumblers or ages 5-9. Beginning tumblers work on skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges. Classes meet twice per week for 45 minutes in a 2 week block.
Tumble/Acro II
Classes will focus on building strength and stamina, new skills, and polishing existing tricks. Keep your body limber and muscles in shape by getting them moving in class! Tumble/Acro II is open to intermediate + tumblers or ages 10 and up. Intermediate tumblers can perform beginning skills (rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges) and will work on variations of them as well as limbers, kick overs, and running skills. Classes meet twice per week for 1 hour in a 2-week block.

A daytime/home school hip hop group for ages 4.5-7. This class introduces young children to the foundations of hip hop dance.

Courses
Competition Team Placement Auditions
Any dancer wishing to be placed on a competitive team for the 2025-26 season will be required to attend a four-day technique intensive and team placement audition. Dancers will be divided by age for classes, 4-7, 8-11 and 12+. Each day classes will be split between ballet, jazz/hip hop, and turns/leaps. Dancers will be required to be in black leotards and leggings and have correct shoes for classes. All dancers in attendance will be offered a place on one of our competition teams.
Musical Theater 2

Ten fabulous classes– months worth of stretching, barre work for strength, and fine-tuning technique on leaps and turns await you this summer! Keep working to improve or get a step ahead for classes in the fall. Short combinations will be taught in various styles to encourage performance skills and the ability to learn quickly. A positive environment will be provided to continue to advance your dance level and technique! This class is very strongly recommended for all dancers interested in competition.

Get ready to shine like a star at our Pop Princess Dance Camp where the spotlight is always on fun, friendship, and fabulous moves! Dancers will groove to chart-topping hits while learning fun jazz, hip-hop, and pop-inspired routines. Royal Tea Party Dance Camp
Calling all little princes and princesses! Step into a magical week of twirls, tiaras, and timeless fun at our Royal Tea Party Dance Camp. Each day, young dancers will explore the world of ballet and creative movement, learning graceful steps fit for royalty. Campers will enjoy a variety of royal-themed games, create sparkling crafts like wands, crowns, and royal sashes, and even learn a special dance performance to share with their court. The week culminates in a whimsical tea party on the final day, where dancers will sip tea (or lemonade!) in style and show off their dances.
