In our highest level, students will continue to hone their skills through challenging rhythms, improv, and choreography.

Our highest level, students continue to hone their flexibility, progressions, dynamics, and explore improv and choreography.
Ballet 5
Our highest level, dancers in this level are required to take technique class at least three times a week in addition to a pointe class (for those dancers en pointe) or a conditioning class. Cross training with a jazz or tap class is highly encouraged.
Ballet 4
Dancers in this level continue to explore intermediate to advanced technique and develop their artistic voice. Dancers in this level are required to take technique class at least twice a week in addition to a pointe class (for those dancers en pointe). Modern 10+
Pulling primarily from the techniques of Martha Graham and Lester Horton, this Modern class includes a warm-up, across the floor work, and progressions. Floor work will be included. No previous Modern experience is necessary, but familiarity with Ballet or Jazz vocabulary is beneficial. This class is designed for bare feet. Recommended for ages 10+ with at least 2 years of dance experience.
Jazz 3
This class will challenge dancers with more intermediate steps. Students will also get the opportunity to learn choreography from well-known Broadway shows.
Ballet 3
This class focuses on building strength and technique as our pre-pointe level. A dancer's physical development, strength, and maturity determines their readiness for pointe shoes. Dancers in this level are required to take class twice a week. Cross training with a jazz or tap class is highly encouraged.
Jazz 2
This class is for students who have an understanding of the basics of jazz. Focus will be on flexibility, progressions, and learning short variations.
Ballet 2
This class is for students who have had at least one year of ballet classes. Dancers will explore more challenging turn and jump progressions and continue their technical development. Dancers in this level may choose to take class 2x a week.
Tap 1
Learn the fundamentals and basics of tap. Dancers will learn across the floor progressions and focus on rhythm and balance.
Jazz 1
Learn the fundamentals and basics of jazz including stretching, balance, and core work. Dancers will learn across the floor progressions.
Ballet 1
Learn the fundamentals of ballet. Dancers will be introduced to the barre and explore across the floor patterns and dances to keep their creativity and artistry building along with their strength and flexibility.
Creative Movement
For our dancers 3 to 5 years who are ready to try class on their own, Creative Movement explores the foundational movement patterns, musicality, and collaboration with young dancers while encouraging creativity and fun. Dancers must be toilet trained to register for this class.
Open Ballet
For dancers who have a good foundation in ballet training, Open Ballet includes a full barre and center for dancers who want to stay strong and continue to hone their coordination, flexibility, and artistry. This is an intermediate to intermediate/advanced class.
Musical Theatre Performance Team
New class for Fall '25! Join our Musical Theatre Performance Team for ages 12-18 (younger students may join with instructor permission) and dive into the exciting world of singing, dancing, and acting. This engaging class emphasizes technical skills and social-emotional growth, fostering confidence, empathy, and teamwork. Students will participate in group numbers as well as solos or small group pieces, showcasing their talents in multiple performance opportunities throughout the year. They will also finish with polished audition cuts to prepare for future auditions, unlocking their potential as performers in a supportive and creative environment!

Teen Modern
For ages 12-19years. Pulling primarily from the techniques of Martha Graham and Lester Horton, this Open Modern class includes a warm-up, across the floor work, and a combination. Dancers may wear ballet shoes or socks if they prefer.
CardioTAP™
Aspire is thrilled to partner with the Owner/Co-creator of CardioTAP™, Krystle Armstrong-Alan to offer their signature CardioTAP™ method! CardioTAP™ was created by professional musical theatre performers and choreographers to adapt Broadway tap steps into an incredibly fun and effective workout. CardioTappers burn over 500 calories per class and improve strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, muscle tone, bone density, cognitive acuity & function, and of course, tap skills! We welcome people of all tap and fitness levels - from musical theatre professionals and enthusiasts to business professionals and people who used to tap as kids - even complete beginners! For dancers who have never taken ballet before or those who have taken a long break, this class will introduce and build upon the fundamentals of ballet. Dancers will get detailed feedback to help them find the shapes and movement patterns that lengthen, strengthen, and improve flexibility in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

This class focuses on speed and technique for dancers who have had at least three years of tap classes. Students will be introduced to intermediate to advanced steps and will explore improv.
Tap 3
This class is for students who have had at least one year of tap classes and focuses on more intermediate and challenging steps. Students will also get to learn routines from beloved Broadway musicals.
Tap 2
This class is for students who have an understanding of the basics of tap. Focus will be on learning small variations and routines. This level introduces Musical Theatre Tap style.
Exploring Theatre 1
Exploring Theatre class explores how movement, improv, and acting come together to tell a story. Students will create their own show by building the plot, characters, costumes, and scenery. Students will perform their work in informal showings at the end of the first semester and will collaborate with Faculty to craft the opening and closing scenes of the annual Aspire Revue in the Spring!

Pre-Ballet with Tap
Splitting class time between ballet (25min.) and tap (25min.), this class is for our young dancers who are ready for a more structured class that introduces more ballet terminology and shapes with new balance and coordination challenges. In tap, students will focus on discovering rhythms and making sounds with their feet. But most importantly, dancers will get the opportunity to make a lot of noise!
Creative Movement 2
For our young dancers age 5 or who have had a year of Creative Movement experience, Creative Movement 2 continues to explore the foundational movement patterns of young dancers while encouraging creativity and fun. This class begins the transition to Pre-Ballet by incorporating more complex rhythms and patterns, and asking the dancers for more maturity in focus than Creative Movement 1. Dancers must be toilet trained to register for this class.

Open Theatre Jazz
Dancers must have a basic understanding of jazz to take Open level. Class will include a warm-up, across the floor progressions, and choreography in rotating Theatre styles. Dancers will work on strength, flexibility, and storytelling.
Beginning Tap
This class is for adult and teen students who want to learn the basics of tap. Dancers will learn rhythm and foundational steps and receive detailed feedback in a judgment-free environment
Contemporary
Each week of contemporary will feature a warm up, stretching, and across the floor progressions to practice skills and technique for that week's combination. Combinations will change every couple of weeks and pull from ballet, jazz, modern, and commercial styles to let dancers practice their artistry, floor work, and performance skills. Socks are the recommended footwear for this class.
Dance Conditioning
Using barre, standing, and floor exercises, Director Erin's Dance Conditioning class focuses on full body strengthening and dynamic flexibility. Students are encouraged to bring their own mat. Recommended footwear is socks, bare feet, or ballet shoes.
Pre-Ballet
For our young dancers ready for a slightly more structured class and the introduction of more ballet terminology and more complex rhythms and shapes with new balance and coordination challenges.

This class focusses on conditioning and flexibility to help dancers enhance their technique classes and maintain injury prevention practices. Recommended for Level 4 & 5 students

Tap Fundamentals
For dancers who have never taken tap class before or who are returning after a break, this class will introduce the fundamental steps of tap dancing! With a guaranteed small class, students will get individual corrections and receive support in a judgement free and joyful class. Over the session, students will learn foundational steps and terminology, work on counts and rhythms, and get introduced to tap-dancing best practices to enable them to step confidently into drop-in classes and more!
Open Pointe
Dancers both experienced and new pointe are welcome for open pointe class. Class will include barre work and center -for those with previous pointe experience. Dancers are welcome to take pointe class in flat shoes. If you are new to pointe, please consult Director Erin Crall Scott before purchasing shoes for the first time!

STEPZ movement class for adults and adults with babies : STEPZ By BabySteps is a dance-fitness class for all levels. Inspired by our original BabySteps Babywearing dance classes, we’ll learn accessible versions of iconic choreography—from Pop to Broadway to popular media. Paired with a warm-up, bodyweight strength, and across-the-floor movement, this class is for folks who want to dance joyfully and forget they're even getting a workout in! This is an adult fitness class, but as always, babies in carriers are welcome to attend. Our instructors are always ready with modifications and Babywearing support.
