Water Street Dance Milwaukee also offers Pre-Professional Training Only options for young dancers who want to receive high caliber training but are not interested in competition dance. Dancers are placed in the appropriate level through a trial class. Classes are available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and include ballet, contemporary, turns & leaps, acro/skills, jazz and hip hop.

Youth Co. is a pre-professional program for young, emerging dancers that have potential to move into the advanced level training program with additional technical training. Water Street is committed to fostering and encouraging educational opportunities for every dancer. This includes setting a solid foundation for dance while providing similar experiences and opportunities in concert and competitive dance.

Water Street II is an advanced level pre-professional program that provides high-caliber artistry and diverse technical training. Our goal is to provide our dancers with the tools necessary to become working professional artists. In addition, by committing to our program, dancers will receive experience and opportunities in concert and competitive dance.

Water Street Dance MKE. Jazz Intensive has something to offer for dancers from the intermediate through collegiate levels. At our intensive, dancers will gain technical awareness of their body, increase their own individual artistry, and explore a range of diverse & challenging classes.

Water Street Dance MKE. Ballet Intensive has something to offer for dancers from the intermediate through collegiate levels. At our intensive, dancers will gain technical awareness of their body, increase their own individual artistry, and explore a range of diverse & challenging classes.

Holiday Jam is an entire weekend-long winter dance intensive filled with master classes and performances that are sure to leave you inspired.

Monthly class tuition: approx. $285 - $400 per month depending on training program selected. Dedicated training classes on Monday and Tuesday evenings for pre-professional dancers only. Additional classes on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday to fulfill program requirements. Additional program costs: company photoshoot, choreography fees, competition & convention fees, private lessons, costumes, and performance fees (if applicable based on opportunities).

This is an intermediate level Hip Hop program for dancers for ages 7-12 that have a minimum of 1 year experience in dance and are looking to join a competitive team. Although auditions are not required, a placement evaluation may be made by attending an open class in advance of joining the program to give our instructors a good understanding of the dancer’s current skillset. Dancers in this program will perform 1 competitive dance.

This is an Intermediate/Advanced level Hip Hop program for dancers that have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Hip Hop and are looking to take their skill to the next level. Although auditions are not required, a placement evaluation may be made by attending an open class in advance. Dancers will learn one competitive dance and perform in the year end showcase.

The Water Street Dance Milwaukee Trainee Program is a professional weekend program that supports emerging artists pursuing a dance career. This program offers high-caliber technical training, performance opportunities, and the chance to work alongside professional artists, renowned choreographers, and artistic directors across the United States. Our goal is to provide dancers with the necessary tools and skills to become working professional artists. Join our program to receive comprehensive training, refine your technique, expand your artistic abilities, and gain valuable performance experience within a professional repertory dance company.

Water Street Dance Festival is a week-long event for the aspiring professional dancer to make professional connections, take classes, audition for companies/projects, see performances, and experience the finest contemporary dance the Midwest has to offer.
