Wempners' School Of Dance

Experienced dancers may enroll in our intermediate and advance classes including: Ballet, Pointe (by teacher approval only), Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary (must have previous ballet training), and Hip Hop.

For first-time dancers, we offer introductory ballet and tap classes. These will cover the basics of dance.

Students 12+ may enroll in modern and contemporary classes.

Jazz classes are offered for students with experience in ballet and/or pre-jazz.

We offer beginning ballet and tap classes for first time dancers ages 8-12. These classes will cover basic dance techniques. Juniors who have danced before may continue their training in ballet and tap classes.

We offer a Beginning 8-12 class split into two sections of ballet and tap. This class will introduce technique and fundamentals for those wishing to start exploring dance.

Beginning with level Division 2, ballet and tap are offered as separate classes. Must have previous dance experience. 30 minutes

Student are also offered a 30 minutes Pre-Jazz 1 class beginning in level Division 1B.

This level is for students in typically in 3rd grade with previous ballet and tap experience. This is a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class.

We offer a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class for students ages 6 & 7. This class will introduce basic ballet and tap technique for beginning students.

For students in 2nd grade previous ballet and tap experience. This is a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class.

For students in 1st grade with previous ballet and tap experience. This is a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class.

We offer a 1-hour combination Ballet & Tap class geared toward five-year-old kindergarten students with or without previous dance experience.

This 45-minute class covers basic concepts of dance. Students also practice rhythmic and locomotive skills. This class is for beginning dancers. Children must be age 4 by September 1st to enroll.
