Dance Improvisation has become an important aspect of a dancers artistry as they generate spontaneous movement in the moment without being told precisely what to perform. Mastering the craft of improv helps a dancer explore their movement style and create new material for choreography. This class provides an environment for dancers to develop confidence as improvised movement material is facilitated through a variety of creative explorations including body mapping through levels, shape and dynamics schema and combinations

This class will provide additional detailed instruction in all forms of Leaps and Turns sequences. This particular class can provide detailed technique & STRENGTHENING EXERCISES to be used in various genres & levels of Dance including Company level, Dance Team, Cheer Team & College Dance Teams.

Ballet training is essential to the fundamentals of all dance forms. This class will emphasize proper body placement, alignment, grace, posture, poise and fluidity of movement. This class includes Ballet Barre and Center work. Additionally, dancers will learn the French terminology that forms the basic universal language of dance.

A high-energy class incorporating Hip-Hop choreography, and foundational techniques. Dancers will be encouraged to develop their own personal style through freestyle movement and picking up choreography. These classes will help build confidence and performance quality in your dancer.

Our Combo Classes are the perfect choice for both new dancers and existing dancers to train in multiple styles of dance, helping to encourage dancers ages 9+ to become more well rounded performers and artists. Combo Classes are 1 hour long and consist of lyrical/Jazz, technique & Choregraphy.

Our city Crew Classes are the perfect choice for both new dancers and existing dancers to train in multiple styles of dance, helping to encourage our youngest dancers to become more well rounded performers and artists. Combo Classes are 30-45 minutes long and consist of Lyrical/Jazz, and Hip-Hop technique & Choreography.

City crew is our version of recreational dance. merit is a company training facility for dancers. everyone enrolled in our studio is considered a company member and will be given the same level of training as our Performance company. our city crew will have one local recital performance and focus mainly on technical foundations of dance throughout the year.
