Classes

Ballet

Adonai School of Ballet offers ballet classes. Normal monthly tuition is due on time for the length of online classes if Adonai School of Ballet must shift classes to an online platform for any reason. Students are not permitted to skip months, thus skipping a monthly tuition payment.

Ballet 1A and/or Beg Ele Jazz/Modern/Tap

Age 7/Second Grade – Register for Ballet 1A and/or Beg Ele Jazz/Modern/Tap.

Pre-Ballet & Tap

Age 5/Kindergarten – 1st Grade – Register for Pre-Ballet & Tap.

Preschool class

Ages 3-4 as of Sept 1, 2025 – Register for Preschool class.

Progressive Ballet Technique

Body strengthening and conditioning program. Students enrolled in Ballet 5-8 are eligible for this class. Specific equipment will be required for this class!

Jazz Pop

The Jazz Pop class will be working on conditioning and body movement, learning to isolate and move in a fast pace and fun way, modestly.

Modern/Tap

These classes will be based on the techniques of classical ballet but will allow for more freedom of movement, improvisation, expressing of oneself. These classes are available to students enrolled in Ballet 1-8. Teacher will place based on experience.

Pre-Teen/Teen and Adult Ballet/Tap

These classes are designed for older beginners or for students who haven’t had class in a few years and need to catch up. Open for ages 10 and older (Teen Ballet) and 16 and older (Adult Ballet).

Worship 3 – 7

Placement is determined by current ballet level and teacher recommendation.

Teen/Adult Worship

Students must have completed and/or currently taking Ballet 2 or equivalent. Ages 12 and up.

Worship 1/2

Students must have completed at least one year of Ballet 1 (or equivalent), and currently taking Ballet 1B or Ballet 2.

Worship Ballet

This class is based on the principles of ballet technique, while encouraging creativity and worshipful movements. Worship dance classes incorporate bible study, sign language, and improvisation.

Pointe

Students who take pointe are required to take 2 weekly technique classes in addition to their pointe class.

Pre-Pointe

This class is a prerequisite to pointe. This class will focus on strengthening the foot and ankle, proper alignment and increasing endurance. This is an additional class and teacher placement is required. Pre-Pointe shoes are required for this class. Students enrolled in this class are required to take an additional weekly technique class. There will be no recital dance for this class.

Ballet 1-8

Continues training of ballet vocabulary by establishing more complex material, port de bras, and musicality. Ballet 1B – Ballet 8 students are placed by the Adonai staff based on ability and previous experience.

Pre-Ballet & Tap

Establishes basic ballet vocabulary, barre and center work, and spatial awareness while still encouraging joy of movement. Tap will be introduced in this level as well. This class will perform a ballet piece in the Spring Concert.

Pre-School Ages 3-4

These classes encourage the joy of movement, creativity, and self-expression. Children will develop body and spatial awareness, musicality, and the dynamics of moving together as a group. Terminology and basic steps are introduced and an appreciation of French as the language of dance is developed.

Mommy & Me Ballet

Designed for children who are walking through age 2 and their mother or caregiver. These classes encourage the joy of movement, creativity, and self-expression. Children will develop body and spatial awareness, musicality, and the dynamics of moving together as a group.
