Our homeschool enrichment program is perfect for all homeschoolers looking to participate in the arts. At Doxa you will find weekly classes available in dance, acro, art, band, and music as well as a co-op day program held once a week. Opportunities are available for children from the age of 4yrs through high school.

Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Art & Music History, Watercolor, Pastels, Charcoal, Music Theory, Sight Reading, Instruments & More!

A class perfect for beginners or experienced actors, designed for students from fifth grade through high school. This course offers an in-depth exploration of acting techniques, performance skills, and theater arts, tailored to challenge and inspire young actors at varying skill levels.

Advanced acro is a fun, high-energy class based on the principles and curriculum of Acrobatic Arts. Each student will learn skills and work towards a proper understanding and execution of advanced skills. A prerequisite for this class is a kick-over independently. This is a performance class.

This course is for intermediate students 9th-12th Grade to explore and learn pieces of musical theater dance in the tap and jazz disciplines, sometimes learning the original choreography from popular musicals. Students will learn techniques for stage presence and hone their theater dance skills. This is a performance class.

This class is is for advanced dancers and require instructor approval. Students will explore the history of Modern dance and learn skills in the lyrical, modern dance, and contemporary dance genres. This is a performance class.

Pointe classes are available by instructor approval only. Class will include Progressing Ballet Technique to learn to activate and train muscle memory to enhance each student’s ballet technique to the fullest. Pointe 1 will follow a curriculum that builds on foundational principles over the year to develop safe practices and stronger techniques. This is a performance class.

Pre-Pointe 2 is available by instructor approval only. This class uses a curriculum that focuses primarily on lower body strength, core stability, flexibility, and foot articulation which is foundational for pointe work. Pre-Pointe students will learn about physiology and technique, safe practices, and how to advance toward demi-pointe shoes. This is a performance class.

Intermediate acr0 is a fun, high-energy class based on the principles and curriculum of Acrobatic Arts. Each student will learn skills and work towards a proper understanding and execution of advanced skills. A prerequisite for this class is a kick-over independently. This is a performance class.

This class is for experienced dancers and requires instructor approval. They will begin to explore the next level of skills in the foundations of musical theater. The students will learn tap, jazz, and how to express themselves on stage in an audience-captivating method. This is a performance class.

This class is an introductory class where students will explore and learn skills in the lyrical, modern dance, and contemporary dance genres. (This class is intended to prepare younger students for the rigors of the advanced lyrical/modern class.) This is a performance class.

This class is available by instructor approval only. Dance 2 is a combination class for current 3rd – 5th graders. No experience is necessary. This class will explore dance styles such as ballet, jazz, and tap. Dance 2 is a fun, high-energy class following the basic foundations of the Cecchetti ballet method. This is a performance class.

These are technique classes utilizing the curriculum developed by the Cecchetti Council of America. This is not a performance class.

Beginning acro is a fun, high-energy class based on the principles and curriculum of Acrobatic Arts. Each student will learn skills and work towards a proper understanding and execution of intermediate skills. A prerequisite for this class is a backbend from standing independently. This is a performance class.

Junior Hip Hop is for students in 1st-5th grades. They will experience athletic conditioning and the foundations of Hip Hop. This is a performance class.

This class is for students in the 1st and 2nd grades. They will be exposed to dance styles such as ballet, tap, jazz, and acro in a fun, high-energy child-friendly approach. The students will learn techniques from Acrobatic Arts and Once Upon a Ballet certified curriculums. This is a performance class.

Students will explore ballet, tap, and acrobatics. This class follows the certified Once Upon a Ballet and Acrobatic Arts curriculum that creates an engaging, fun, and inspiring environment to enhance the children’s first exposure to dance and creative movement. This is a performance class.

At Doxa Arts Academy, we proudly teach the Cecchetti Method of ballet. The Cecchetti Method of ballet training is a progressive system of training dancers from a pre-ballet beginning level to a professional level. The Cecchetti Method was designed with careful regard to the laws of anatomy to prepare a dancer’s body to bear the physical demands of public performance. The Method embodies qualities that are essential to the dancer; balance, poise, strength, elevation, elasticity, musicality and artistry.

Dance and Acro classes are billed on a monthly basis. Tuition is paid through our parent portal Jackrabbit. In the parent portal you can choose between automatic payments or self-pay, view your children’s classes, etc.

Our adult students can look forward to a combination of ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical styles of dance. Our hope is that this will be a comfortable, safe outlet for adults to move, share their love of dance, and have fun together!

Music Together is a research-based early childhood music curriculum that has been serving families in the US and worldwide for over 35 years!

Exciting new opportunity for homeschool students! Taught by passionate, talented teachers your homeschooler will learn how to play an instrument with a band. The band meets on Wednesdays at 2:30pm. Instruments are available for rent.
