The Ballroom Latin Swing Social Dance Association, located in vibrant Little Rock, Arkansas, is your premier destination for discovering the joy of movement and building a strong dance community. We welcome dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned performers, in a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Our core offerings revolve around social and partner dancing, with engaging group classes preceding our regular dance events. Experience the excitement of our social dances held on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at Tim Buffenbarger’s Let’s Dance studio. These events begin with a complimentary dance lesson from 7:00 pm to 7:45 pm, followed by open social dancing in a diverse array of styles from 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm. Admission is $15 for members and $20 for guests, and light snacks and soft drinks are provided. Beyond our popular social gatherings, we offer a comprehensive curriculum encompassing a wide range of dance genres. Explore the elegance of Ballroom, the fiery rhythms of Latin (including Salsa and Bachata), and the energetic pulse of Swing. Our diverse program also features Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Musical Theater, Belly Dance, Flamenco, and Zumba for a fun fitness experience. Affiliated instructors, including Tim Buffenbarger and Adam Richardson, provide opportunities for personalized, one-on-one training in nearly any dance style, allowing for a truly bespoke learning experience. We pride ourselves on a welcoming environment where everyone can find their place, explicitly stating 'No partner needed!' Join us for exciting themed parties like the Skeleton Ball and Mardi Gras Soiree, and refine your skills in dances such as Foxtrot during events like our 'Puttin' on the Green Dance Party' and '4th Friday Dance Party.'
