Civic Dance Center focuses on developing well rounded dancers through exposure to a variety of styles with an emphasis on classical ballet technique.

Students are encouraged to wear clothing that won’t hinder their ability to execute the given steps.

To train in proper modern technique it is imperative the teacher be able to see the line of the movement(s) the dancer is creating. All students’ hair must be pulled up off the neck and pulled back off the face.

To train in proper jazz technique it is imperative the teacher be able to see the line of the movement(s) the dancer is creating. All students’ hair must be pulled up off the neck and pulled back off the face.

To train in proper ballet technique it is imperative the teacher be able to see the line of the movement(s) the dancer is creating. All students’ hair must be pulled up off the neck and pulled back off the face. A bun is required in ballet class for all female and male students with hair longer than their shoulders.

Regularly scheduled classes will meet from Monday, December 15th to Saturday, December 20th. Specific times and details are not provided in this schedule.

Join us for our 2025-2026 season with classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. All ages and skill levels welcome.

Hair Class held on Friday, December 5th from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM. This class focuses on hair preparation for performances.

MANDATORY CLASS for anyone performing on pointe and all leads on Saturday, December 13th at Dignity Health Arena & Convention Center from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

MANDATORY CLASS for anyone performing on pointe & ALL leads on Sunday, December 14th at Dignity Health Arena & Convention Center from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Hair Class in Studio C on Sunday, December 7th from 6:45 PM to 8:00 PM. This class focuses on hair preparation for performances.

Master Class with Ricky Palomino on Friday, December 5th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. This class is a special opportunity for dancers to learn from a renowned instructor.
