Weekly company classes to refine technique, build artistry, and foster a sense of camaraderie among company members.

At Mallory Academy of Dance, we put a strong emphasis on developing Bakersfield’s youth both technically and mentally. Our dance classes are held in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment, designed to encourage personal strength and self-confidence.

Dancers in Bakersfield the opportunity to audition and compete in a variety of dance styles at a regional and national level, with our award-winning competition team, MAD Krew.

Diverse curriculum also includes hip hop, jazz, tap, and contemporary dance, catering to students with various goals—whether recreational, or pre-professional conservatory tracks.

One of the strongest modern dance programs in Kern County, featuring a unique style created by Natalia Mallory, as well as techniques inspired by Lester Horton and Martha Graham.

Exceptional ballet instruction based on the RAD syllabus, where students participate in yearly examinations to ensure their technique meets a global standard, fostering a strong educational foundation.

Dance is the fun way to give your child the foundation for a healthy life full of passion and expression. It’s also a great way to physically prepare your children for other sports and physical activities they may participate in as they grow up. Our Academy’s goal is to produce happy, dedicated, and disciplined individuals. With dance classes for children ages 2 and up, there truly is a class for every child at Mallory Academy of Dance. You are never too young to dance!

Private instruction offered in all art forms

Students participate in a ballet, jazz, and tap class, as well as a voice lesson.

Movement, music, and magic are in our curriculum for children ages 2-4 years. Classes foster children’s physical skills and encourage creativity, expression, and musicality. And, behind all the fun, they’ll be prepared to transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.
