About Stage One Dance Studio

Stage One Dance Studio, located in Brea, California, has been fostering a passion for dance since its establishment in 1990. With a rich history that includes over two decades in Fullerton where they were recognized as "Best of Fullerton" for dance instruction for ten consecutive years and received national accolades from the Industry Dance Awards, Stage One relocated to its current spacious 5,000-square-foot facility in 2017. The studio offers a comprehensive dance education for all ages and skill levels, emphasizing proper technique, discipline, determination, poise, and self-confidence. Their diverse range of styles includes Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater, and Acrobatics. Under the guidance of Studio Director Robyn Melanson and Artistic Director Kara Fleming, Stage One boasts a highly accredited and professional faculty. Instructors Felix Galvan, Katie Barber, Katelyn Martinez, Mikayla Duncan, Angelica Michelle, Kayla Fennern, and Alex Van Duyne are dedicated to sharing their extensive knowledge and positive energy. The studio features technique-focused sessions, ensemble performance opportunities, and invitation-only competitive teams noted as "COMP#" classes. Stage One is committed to creating a nurturing, dynamic, and welcoming environment, fostering a strong sense of "dance family" where lifelong friendships are forged.

Pageant Coaching

Are you interested in being in a local or national pageant? If so, we have the one on one coaching for you in all areas of pageantry. Interview, formal wear, public speaking, hair, make-up, wardrobe, etc. Pageantry is all about CONFIDENCE and POISE and our professional pageant coach ( a former Mrs.California ) has been coaching girls for years and can prepare you in every level of competition.
