Jazz

One of the most popular and well known forms of dance. Jazz dance includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps. Our jazz classes are high energy classes that focus on technique and musicality. These one-hour classes work through a detailed warm-up, across the floor techniques, and combos. Classes emphasize musicality and body alignment, conditioning, stretch and strengthening, rhythm and stylization as well as fun and innovative choreography. We will work to develop a solid technical base in the dancers. They will learn choreography to popular and age-appropriate music of today along with vintage styles of jazz from the last decades.
