Music Together Sea Stars

Each week in Music Together ® Mixed-Age classes, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them ® will gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled, socially-distanced, family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place! As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you’ll be supporting your child’s music-learning and overall development—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer. Each weekly class will include songs, chants, dancing, lullabies, and instrument play led by one of our fabulous Music Together on the Mendocino Coast teachers!

Join us for class with your baby and set his/her on a path to a lifetime of music enjoyment---and start building friendships with other new parents! The one-semester Music Together® Babies Class was created especially for families with infants under eight months and younger (or not yet crawling). Pregnant parents are welcome to join us. That’s right: It’s never too early to start our music classes! Maybe you’ve noticed that your baby responds when you play a song in the car or sing to soothe him. Babies are naturally musical—and you don’t have to be a great singer or dancer yourself to nurture their love of music. In this music class for babies, your Music Together ® teacher will show you how you can support your baby’s music development through simple and fun activities. You’ll learn lots of musical ways to connect with your little one through music, and you’ll bond with the other new parents in your class, too. Each weekly class will include songs, chants, dancing, lullabies, and instrument play led by one of our fabulous Sea Star Studios teachers!
