Leyenda Ballet Folklorico offers a very unique folklorico class teaching system. It does not matter if your children did not danced before and are beginners. Leyenda is a very structured group and aims at the highest level we can achieve together. It is important that the child really wants to learn and is alert, focused, has memory skills and good cardio fitness to jump and stomp the folklorico steps. Children must know their left and right and follow such verbal instructions. They need to be eager and enthusiastic and determined to win. For this reason, whether kids are taking folklorico classes online or at our studio face to face we advice to start at 7 years old or older.

Ballet Folklorico Performing Team Classes are geared to nurture professional skill and students are taught a variety of Ballet Folklorico Mexican dances. Prepare students for folklorico theater level shows.

In addition to this, we do frequent ballet folklorico evaluations to test if the students understand the dances and the concepts behind the dance routines.

It's teens and young adults (Up to 30 yrs generally) train to dance in HIGH END SHOWS for fast paced, high FITNESS, endurance and cardio capabilities for shows that are scheduled through each month. Members of this performance team must be within 25 miles of the studio to be consistent and to be able to form a cohesive dance team that can thrive together. Toddler classes for ages 4-7 years old, parent-child class. These classes are seasonal and depend on having a minimum of enrolled students. Usually held on Sundays.

Children Folklorico Class for ages 7-12 years old. Classes are held on Sundays from 10 am to 12:00 noon, depending on experience.

Young Adults Folklorico Class, up to 30 years old, with lots of cardio. Classes are held on Sundays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm.

Teens Folklorico Class for ages 13-19 years old. Classes are held on Sundays from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm, depending on experience.

Recreational classes for adult women up to 55 years old, meant for their skill and enjoyment. Held on Sundays from 8 am to 10 am.

This adult women class is fun. It is created specifically to make moms happy and give them their OWN time to enjoy. They are learning dances that are created for them to excel and feel great and achieving. MOMS CLASS is been a SUCCESS. Try it. Easy, simple and fun with cardio benefits.
