About GymStars Gymnastics

GymStars Gymnastics, located in Stockton, California, provides a comprehensive athletic development program for children of all ages. Our journey begins with "Star Babies" (starting at 2 months) and "Star Movers," focusing on sensory exploration and early motor skills, progressing through "Star Cruisers" and "Star Lites" to build muscle control and coordination. "Star Brites" and "Shooting Stars" introduce imaginative play and skill-based gymnastics for our youngest athletes. For children aged 5 to 17, our robust gymnastics program, the Rising Star Program, offers a non-competitive, achievement-oriented environment. Students are placed in logical training groups based on age, experience, and skill, progressing through color-coded levels like Red Rising Star and Blue Rising Star. Skill mastery is celebrated using a Skill Star Chart. Simultaneously, our tumbling programs, aligned with USASF Levels 1-5, develop cardiovascular health, core strength, and spatial awareness, progressing from fundamental cartwheels and handstands to advanced layouts and double fulls. These programs also enhance vestibular function, optical tracking, and concentration. GymStars Gymnastics also offers specialized cheerleading programs. The Little Dippers Cheer class (4-5 years) introduces tumbling, stunting, motions, dance, and jumps. Super Stars Cheer (6+) and Devo Elite Cheer (6+) build advanced tumbling and routine work, preparing participants for competitive cheerleading. We are committed to fostering teamwork and skill development in a fun, supportive environment, utilizing the GymStars App for seamless account management and registration.
