About Pacific Ballet

Pacific Ballet, located in Stockton, California, was established in the spring of 2015 by Founder and Artistic Director Suzànne Lundberg, a master teacher classically trained and formerly with Ballet West. Building on a legacy that began in 1990 with Del Mar Academie of Ballet in Santa Cruz, Lundberg brought her extensive experience to create a professional school dedicated to classical ballet. The studio offers a comprehensive dance education rooted in classical technique and artistic development, emphasizing the Cecchetti and Vaganova methods. Programs cater to all ages, from Pre-Ballet/Creative Movement for young children to the intensive Protégé Program for aspiring professional dancers and college scholarship recipients. Beyond core ballet, Pacific Ballet fosters creativity with Contemporary and Dance Composition classes, and offers "EXCELLERATE! Your Technique" fitness classes to enhance flexibility, strength, and balance for dancers and non-dancers alike. Pointe and pre-pointe classes are available for advanced students. Recognizing the importance of holistic development, the studio focuses on technical clarity, artistry, and injury prevention through proper movement. With limited class sizes for individualized attention, Pacific Ballet is committed to nurturing dynamic individuals and accomplished dancers. The studio moved downtown in fall 2018 and premiered the Pacific Ballet Company at the Fox, underscoring its commitment to performance and community outreach.
