Catering to all levels, from beginner to advanced, and open to ages 5 through adult, our classes cover a diverse range of styles, including sassy, commercial, and musical theatre jazz. Join us to improve your technique, boost your confidence, and express your personality through the dynamic world of jazz dance.

Join our vibrant and expanding Hip-Hop program at the Woodland Opera House! With classes available for all skill levels, from ages 5 through adult, our program offers a fun and energetic environment where dancers can learn the latest moves, improve their technique, and express their creativity. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, our experienced instructors are here to guide you on your Hip-Hop journey.

Dancers will discover new ways to move their bodies by combining ballet-based exercises with musical rhythms and patterns. Along with creative and imaginative movement, this class introduces them to dance class etiquette, following instructions, and waiting patiently for their turn. This class will assist these young dancers in building essential fine motor skills and muscle coordination to enable them to be successful outside of the dance studio.

Our Contemporary Dance program at the Woodland Opera House offers dynamic, intermediate-level training for individuals aged 16 and above (or with instructor approval based on skill.) Designed to enhance technique and creativity, this program provides a supportive environment where dancers can explore modern choreography, develop their unique style, and build confidence on stage. Join us to elevate your dance skills and express yourself through the captivating art of contemporary dance. Dancers must be in Level 3 ballet or higher or if an adult, equivalent experience to enroll. Administrative approval and placement assessment is needed for outside students to attend. Dress Code: ​Solid black leotard, solid pink ballet tights, tan turning shoes and/or Foot Undeez. Optional: Black fitted ballet shorts. Male/male identifying: black leggings or shorts, white or black t-shirt, ballet shoes.

Held each Fall and Spring, these 8 to 9 week sessions culminate in a themed musical revue performed on our historic stage. With classes for Kinder through 2nd grade, 3rd through 5th grade, and 6th through 12th grade, we offer multiple options tailored to each age group. Participants will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while working towards a spectacular final performance. Unleash your inner star and create unforgettable memories in our vibrant and supportive community! Each session gets their own costume T-shirt to wear for the performances.
