Creative Movement (Teen & Adult)

ALL LEVELS WELCOME!!! This class is a combination of dance steps either pre-choreographed or created through collaborating together in order to get our bodies moving. In this class, you will connect and create with other dancers of all levels. Benefits include exploring self-expression, creative inspiration, stress relief, learning musicality, and personal and physical growth through dance. Each week's style depends on what everyone is inspired by: Come dance!

Lyrical Hip Hop (Level 2)

Students explore the vastness of hip hop movement with the freedom to express the choreography with a mix of robotic isolations, hard stops, dramatic collapses and floppy bounces, is tailored to bring the song’s message to life thru hip-hop choreography sprinkled with contemporary-inspired steps that tell a story to the lyrics of a song.

Hip Hop Breakdancing (Level 3)

This is a traditional hip hop movement class of breakdance top rock, footwork, freezes/stalls, choreography, style, tutting, popping, locking and tumbling. We dance to break beats, funk, rock, pop, edm, top 40, and contemporary artists.

Hip Hop New Skoolerz (Level 2)

Dancers can expect warm-up exercises and isolations to support street style technique for video style dance group choreography.

INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED BALLET TECHNIQUE

Students will see an increase in difficulty in barre and center work as they develop movement sequences, port de bras, balance, musicality and imaginative artistry. Students begin focusing on repetition and retention, and pre-pointe work for girls is introduced.

BEGINNING BALLET

Cultivate your child with dance. Focus on introductions to fundamentals of classical ballet with basic technique, barre and center work, proper display of body alignment and muscular control, strong musicality, individual/group spatial awareness and French terminology. Due to the nature ballet, students attending this program will be expected to follow a high level of class etiquette and discipline; needed to maintain an appropriate pace of learning.

PRE-BALLET

Go od for beginner level students. Class meets 40 minutes once weekly for 4 consecutive weeks ongoing. Young dancers will begin basic preparation for ballet positions, movement and vocabulary. Primary focus is on the development of discipline, self control, technical awareness, musicality and expression in a classical ballet setting.

MINI BALLET (Ages 1-4)

Story Time Dance

Your little on ages 1-4 years old will have a blast learning their alphabet, phonics, colors and shapes to help build large motor skills. Projects to go along with our book to let them, create, sort & imagine. They will be encouraged to follow instruction and practice leadership while building confi-DANCE. Students will be introduced to the concepts of body, en ergy, space, and time as well as encouraged to take direction from the instructor and share turns with peers while identifying basic forms of movement through reading, stories, imaginative games, songs, music, and rhythmical patterns which foster independence and self-expression .

Lil' Tumblers

Designed for the very active child. Every other week. Hip Hop YoungStars (Level 1)

Designed for Beginners. Easy - Moderate Skill Level. Good for students with little to no dance experience. 1 weekly group session for 4 consecutive weeks. High-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.

POINTE

Pre- Pointe students focus on pre-pointe work, additional attention is paid to the proper extension of the legs, shape of the feet & overall strength for pointe sh oes. Tailored for each dancer to excel from their current state of technique through intimate training with depth of knowledge and proper corrections to enhance alignment and inspire them to rise to the next level of dance excellence. Class meets once weekly for four consecutive weeks.
