About Conservatory Dance Studio

Conservatory Dance Studio, located in Greeley, Colorado, has been a cornerstone of dance education since its establishment in 1993. Founded by Linda McSwain and Jeffrey Marc Rockland, and currently owned by Linda McSwain, Jenni Leinweber, and Katie McSwain, the studio fosters a lifelong love of dance for students of all ages and abilities. Young Dancer

Young dancers will be introduced to ballet, tap and tumbling skills. Combo age ranges: 2-6 (please see class schedule for specific ages) For children just starting dance or continuing at a young age Learn FUN beginning level dance movement Basic terminology of ballet, tap and tumbling Listening skills, following directions and working with others Balance, patterns and motor skills

Tumbling

Tumbling students focus on conditioning, core strengthening and safe gymnastic skills. Upper and Lower Body Strength, Stunts and Tumbling Passes on the Floor, Dexterity and Flexibility, Balance and Coordination.

Tap

Tap focuses on footwork, style, rhythm, and musicality. An "All American" dance style focusing on counting and musicality. Learn Funk Tap, Rhythm Tap and Broadway Tap.

Jazz / Contemporary

Jazz is a blend of ballet, modern and tap technique. Jazz is a fun energetic form of dance that showcases the dancer's individual style and individuality. Ballet

Classical ballet provides the technical foundation that are essential to all dance forms. Classes are available for ages 6 - Adult. Enjoy the tradition of Ballet, Grace, poise and posture, Core strength and stability, Learn the beauty of one of the oldest classical techniques. Ballet is the foundation technique to all other styles of dance.

Tumbling Classes

Tumbling students focus on conditioning, core strengthening and safe gymnastic skills.

Show #1 (11:00AM) of the Spring Showcase is a cute little collection of dances from our Loveland Young Dancer program during the 2024-25 season. These energetic dancers range in age two through eight. The pieces presented in the Young Dancer Showcase are a product of their work from March to June. Choreography will show off their classwork through Ballet, Tap and Jazz material. A short, highly entertaining, and dazzling show!
