About Immersion Dance Center

Immersion Dance Center, located in Fort Collins, Colorado, is a vibrant studio dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of dance for movers of all ages and skill levels. Founded in 2016 by Owner/Director Michele Rosemann, the center offers a comprehensive curriculum in a supportive and welcoming environment. Immersion Dance Center provides instruction in a diverse range of styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Tap, Modern, Musical Theater, and Acrobatics. The studio's dedicated faculty comprises passionate and experienced instructors such as Michele Rosemann (BFA Dance, teaching Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary and directing the Competitive Company), Kat Long (BFA Theatre and Dance, teaching Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary, and Conditioning), Emery Duet-Champagne (MPH, teaching Ballet, Jazz/Lyrical/Contemporary, and Tumbling), Zarita Apple (Tap and Hip Hop), Terri Jo Englund (professional company and teaching experience, teaching Ballet, Pointe, and Aerial Yoga), and Anna Harbert (CSU Dance graduate, teaching Rising Stars and Ballet). For younger dancers, the "Grown Up and Me" program is a unique six-week session designed for children 18 months to 3 years old and their caregivers, focusing on motor development, rhythm, and creativity. Immersion Dance Center also offers avenues for dedicated dancers to explore performance through its Competitive Company and other teams, providing platforms for growth and artistic expression. The studio is committed to quality instruction and opportunities for students to reach their fullest potential.

Shooting Stars

This is an invite-only program for young dancers (2nd-3rd graders) who want to expand their dance education and are excited to have more opportunities to perform. Shooting Stars dancers are at IDC 2 evenings per week. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical, conditioning, tumbling, & rehearsal (4 hours/week).

Senior Company

For dancers entering 9th-12th grades. Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as a couple weekends each month. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, & conditioning & technique (~3.5-4.25 hours/week) in addition to their rehearsals (~1.75-3.75 hours/week).

Teen Company

For dancers entering 7th-10th grades. Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as a couple weekends each month. Their required classes are ballet, tap, jazz/lyrical/contemporary, & conditioning & technique (~3.5-4.25 hours/week) in addition to their rehearsals (~1.75-3.75 hours/week).

Junior Company

For dancers entering 5th-7th grades. Competitive Company dancers are at IDC ~3 evenings per week as well as a couple weekends each month. Grown Up and Me

This fun creative movement class is designed for children ages 18 months to 3 years old along with their grown ups. During each 6 week session, students and their grown ups will explore the world of dance through basic dance movements. Utilizing engaging music and dance movements, students, with assistance from their grown up, will work on motor development, rhythm, and creativity in a safe and inspiring environment.
