Altitude Performing Arts, nestled in the scenic mountain town of Frisco, Colorado, is a dynamic dance studio founded on January 17, 2022, by Kurtis Aragon. Dedicated to fostering both elite competitive dance and engaging recreational programs, the studio offers exceptional technical training within a supportive and positive environment, emphasizing dance skills as life skills. Our comprehensive curriculum invites students of all ages, from "Babies-n-tots" (ages 2-4.5) to adults, to explore a diverse range of genuine dance styles including Acrobatics, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Musical Theater, and Tap. The experienced faculty includes Artistic Director Kurtis Aragon, Co-Director Miss Amy, Resident Ballet Mistress Haruko, Instructor Miss Valerie, and Acro & Tumble expert Miss Sara. Miss Amy brings expertise in ballet, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater, alongside a background in Kinesiology, while Haruko offers extensive classical ballet training from New York City and Paris. Altitude Performing Arts also features a renowned competitive program, the Altitude Performing Arts Company (APAC), designed for dancers seeking to elevate their passion and work ethic. Beyond regular instruction, the studio enriches the student experience through regular visits from guest artists, fostering confident and well-rounded individuals transformed by the power of dance.
