Classes

Acro

Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline & concentration. Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. This class is great for students looking to enhance their agility, flexibility, & strength. This class focuses on developing acrobatic skills that enhance physical attributes like flexibility, balance, and strength, going beyond standard tumbling.

Lyrical

Lyrical dance comes from a fusion of jazz, ballet and contemporary, and movements are usually strongly connected to the song and its lyrics. Dancers don’t express how they are feeling with voice, but rather, facial expressions and body dynamics. You become the story through dancing. At least one year of ballet is required prior to taking a lyrical class. This expressive dance form combines elements of jazz, ballet, and contemporary to tell stories through movement and emotion.

Contemporary

Contemporary is a mix of "ballet" (flowing lines and movements) and "modern" (Modern is a form of dance that is used to express how you feel with natural and spontaneous movements) that has grown in popularity with the rise of dance shows on tv. At least one year of ballet and one year of jazz is required prior to taking a contemporary class. This class blends the grace of ballet with the expressiveness of modern dance, fostering fluidity and emotional connection.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a high-energy, always evolving class style, infusing several techniques such as street, commercial, funk, breaking, popping, locking, etc. This dynamic class explores various street dance styles, encouraging improvisation and individual expression in a high-energy environment.

Broadway Jazz

Students will learn how to build muscle strength, gain body flexibility, develop their own movement style and increase their body awareness. Jazz focuses on clean lines, extensions, turns, jumps and a variety of other tricks. Learn your technique while dancing to some of your favorite Broadway showtunes! This class combines strength and flexibility training with expressive movement inspired by Broadway.

Tap

Dancers will learn a variety of steps that focus on timing, musicality, and rhythm. Our tap style is primarily focused on classic Broadway style tap, however dancers can also expect a basic introduction to rhythm tap as they progress through the program. This class develops rhythmic precision and musicality through the art of tap dance.

Ballet

Students learn fundamental ballet technique through barre work, center exercises, and across the floor combinations designed to improve coordination, flexibility, endurance, and musicality. As students progress through the program the exercises will become more complex. This class builds a strong foundation in ballet technique, emphasizing posture, grace, and artistic expression.

Acting

Students will learn acting skills such as improvisation, script analysis, character development through acting exercises, games, monologue work, and scene study. This comprehensive acting class aims to develop essential performance skills, including improvisation, text interpretation, and character portrayal through various engaging exercises.

Acro Dance

Beginner class- working on motor skills, rolls, cartwheels. Will also include some dance movement. This class focuses on developing fundamental motor skills and basic acrobatic movements such as rolls and cartwheels, integrating them with dance steps for a well-rounded physical education.

Tiny Triple Threat Acting

An introduction to beginner acting techniques through creative play and drama games. This class provides a fun and interactive way for young students to explore the basics of acting, using imaginative games and exercises to build confidence and performance skills.

Tiny Triple Threat Ballet

In this foundational class dancers will develop the basic technique and start to expand their terminology and use of arms and legs at the barre and the center. This class focuses on building a strong ballet technique from the ground up, introducing essential terminology and proper execution of barre and center exercises.

Tiny Triple Threat Jazz/Tap

This is a perfect class for our younger dancers emerging into the next level combination class. Will strengthen and further develop their jazz and tap technique in a fun class with music from Broadway and Radio. This class builds upon foundational jazz and tap skills, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience for young dancers ready for more advanced combinations and techniques.

Tiny Tumble

This class develops confidence and builds strength, balance and builds a basic tumbling and acro foundation. This class is designed to help young children build essential physical skills in a safe and supportive environment, focusing on confidence-building activities and foundational tumbling techniques.

Kids Bop

A mix of jazz/hip hop dance styles. It's a perfect intro to hip hop with the latest top 40's music. Kids LOVE this class! This energetic class introduces young dancers to the dynamic world of jazz and hip hop, set to current popular music, encouraging self-expression and confidence.

Petite Stars

Combo class Ballet and Tap. This class is perfect for young dancers who want to explore the fundamentals of both ballet and tap. Dancers will learn basic steps and techniques in each style, building coordination and rhythm in a fun and encouraging setting.

Broadway Babies

Intro to Dance (tap and ballet) and creative movement/singing. This class is designed for our youngest dancers to explore movement and music in a fun and engaging environment. It combines basic tap and ballet steps with imaginative play and singing to foster a love for the performing arts.
