We offer a gracious and supportive environment for social partner dancing, blending traditional American-style Ballroom/Latin, swing, and nightclub dances with a touch of vintage flair. Our comprehensive curriculum is designed for all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced dancers, and caters to tweens, youth, and adults. Explore a wide range of ballroom dances including Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Quickstep, Rumba, Cha Cha, and Bolero. We also provide instruction in swing variations like East Coast Swing, single-time Swing, and West Coast Swing, alongside Nightclub Two Step, Hustle, Salsa, Samba, Merengue, and Group-style Folk Dances. Elegant Dance Ballroom specializes in high-quality, progressive or series-based classes, with new dance styles beginning each month. We foster a welcoming community atmosphere, encouraging partner rotation for enhanced learning, though it's optional. Our dedicated Youth Ballroom Program (ages 14-18) builds confidence, etiquette, and communication skills. For couples, we offer personalized wedding dance lessons to ensure you feel confident and graceful on your special day, with flexible preparation times. Adult classes are thoughtfully structured at 60 minutes with an additional 30 minutes of practice time. Advanced registration is recommended to ensure balanced classes. Private lessons and custom group classes are also available. Elegant Dance Ballroom is committed to making dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone in the Treasure Valley.

Payment is required to book a lesson; no-shows or less than 48-hr cancellation notice are not credited or refunded

The perfect choice if you prefer to learn one-on-one, want customized instruction catered to your learning style and goals, and/or need extra guidance to supplement what you're learning in our group classes. Lessons are 55 minutes and are given in a private studio, no other instructors or students will be in the room.

Adult group classes are one hour, followed by 30 minutes of supervised practice where you can practice what you learned in class and the instructors are available to coach and answer your questions.

Enjoy lively classes every week with smiling faces and great music. Our classes are progressive or series-based—each class builds on what was taught the prior week. A new dance style starts every month. You do not need a partner to attend. We do rotate partners because you learn faster that way and it provides a welcoming sense of community. However, if you'd prefer not to rotate, that's fine, too. Bring your friends and double the fun!

Youth Dance programs

Sibling discounts are available! Enrollment is monthly. We are also an approved vendor for the Empowering Parents/Odyssey grant!

With the Elegant Dance Youth Program, students (ages 14-18) will learn how to partner dance in a fun, supportive, and engaging manner. They’ll get great exercise, as well as develop etiquette, confidence, communication, and relationship skills useful throughout their entire life.
