Nestled in Rupert, Idaho, Freeform Dance Academy, founded by experienced instructor Chelby Vogt, provides a nurturing, structured, and inviting environment for dancers of all ages. With a mission to foster a deep love for dance, build lasting self-confidence, and engage students in disciplined artistic journeys, the academy emphasizes performance and dedication without the pressure of competitions. Freeform Dance Academy offers a diverse range of styles including Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Tap, catering to students from age two to adults. The curriculum is designed with a combination of genres that rotate weekly, ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience. Chelby Vogt, who has been dancing for 20 years and teaching for over four and a half, brings her extensive experience from Idaho State University and Discovery Dance School to Rupert. The studio aims to be inclusive and fun, with plans to expand its offerings to include specialized classes for new moms, disabled students, and couples, such as Mommy and Me Creative Movement and Ballroom classes, further enriching the dance community in Rupert.
