Under the leadership of Sarah Long, who took over in 2008, the studio upholds its commitment to offering classes of the highest standard and fostering a love for dance across all age groups, from 4 to 18 years old. Sarah brings extensive experience to Studio 121, holding a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Dance Performance from Northern Illinois University. She is also the choreographer for Freeport High School's fall musicals and Showtime since 2015 and has contributed her talents to numerous musicals at Highland Community College. Studio 121 Dance specializes in foundational techniques, meticulously teaching Ballet, Pointe, and Modern dance to ensure students develop proper technique, grace, and artistic sensibility. The studio's dedication to student development has led many former dancers to successful careers in professional companies, studio ownership, and teaching, a testament to the exceptional training provided.
