Beauty in Motion Dance Arts

This is a Beginning/Intermediate level class for active adults. The class will guide students in building their Tap technique and precision through various steps, combinations, and rhythm work. No previous dance experience required.

In this 45 minute class, students will focus on beginning rhythm work, musicality, and technique to make clear, crisp sounds. This style is solely based on using tap shoes to make sounds on the floor as a form of percussion.

This 30 minute class will introduce young dancers, 8-11 years of age, to the beauty of lyrical and story telling through basic technique, floor work, and improvisation. Previous dance experience or simultaneously enrollment in Ballet highly recommended. Lyrical is a favorite style among many dancers. It is very popular in the dance world and competitive arena. Lyrical tells the story of music through expressive choreography. It is a fusion style and pulls from technique in classical Ballet and Jazz. When aspiring young dancers say "I want to do THAT", it is often a routine in this style.

This is fun and engaging class combining basic jazz technique with performance flare. Students will learn choreography to various tunes from famous shows. Focus will be on honing dance skills, characterization, and stylization.

This is a fun and upbeat class focusing on technique building for turns, jumps, and dance tricks. Students will be introduced to various new skills while continuing to build on the basics.

This 1 hour minute class will focus on classic training through a combination of barre work, center floor work, and across the floor progressions. Particular focus is on correct terminology and understanding body mechanics/basic anatomy and physiology in relation to achieving proper technique, grace, and poise.

Get ready to bring the energy! This upbeat and dynamic class combines the sharp motions of cheerleading with the rhythm and style of dance. Dancers will learn high-energy routines that include pom motions, jumps, kicks, turns, and basic stunts all set to fun, age-appropriate music. Perfect for students who love to perform, this class builds confidence, coordination, and stamina.

Students will be engaged in fun, high energy choreography. This class will focus on improving coordination, musicality, and style. Rest assured- our music and choreography is always age appropriate and family friendly!

This is a one hour and 30 minute combo class for 6-8 year olds. It includes 30 minutes each of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. This class is geared for those with some previous dance experience but is perfect for beginners as well.

This is a one hour class for 5 and 6 year olds. Students will build on the skills taught in Mini Movers through creative and engaging methods. This class is a combo of 30 minutes Ballet and 30 minutes Tap. Focus will be on creating a fun yet structured classroom environment while progressing to the next level of basic technique.

This 45 minute class is for 3 and 4 year olds. Students will be introduced to the wonder of dance through conceptual learning using engaging songs, games, and props. This class is a combo of 30 minutes pre-Ballet and 15 minutes of introductory Tap. Focus will be on creating a fun yet structured classroom environment while building gross motor skills and learning beginning basics.
