Competitive (pom) Hip Hop - Ruthless Royals

The Ruthless Royals are Studio 815’s premier competitive Hip Hop team, dancing under USASF and Open Cheer & Dance Championships. Known for their fierce energy, bold choreography, and team spirit, the Royals will hit the stage at four competitions across Illinois this season. In Encore, students train at a higher level in ballet, tap, hip hop, lyrical, and jazz, with classes tailored to push both technical ability and artistic expression. Edge Classes

Encounter Hip Hop

Encounter Hip Hop brings the energy of today’s most popular moves to the dance floor! Intermediate Ninja

This class is by invite only! This class is for the beginner boy entering 1st grade or older. The focus of this class is to achieve tumbling skills safely with a mix of parkour. The boys will learn a proper warm-up, increase their flexibility and learn basic shapes and skills. This class is designed to develop strength, flexibility, agility and endurance through skills that mix girls gymnastics, Boys gymnastics, parkour, and karate. In class students will run, jump, and flip through education about parkour, karate, and gymnastics. Students will learn basic techniques that will keep students safe while performing beginner parkour skills. GQ ninja focuses on developing strength and discipline and will be fun for boys of all skill levels.

Tumbling 1

Welcome to GymQuest Tumbling 1, an exciting introductory class designed for athletes who want to focus specifically on floor tumbling skills. This class is ideal for beginners looking to build a strong foundation in tumbling, whether for cheerleading, gymnastics, or personal development. In Tumbling 1, participants will work on basic tumbling skills with an emphasis on proper technique, strength, and flexibility. Our experienced coaches provide a safe and encouraging environment where athletes can build confidence while mastering essential skills.

Girls 3

Girls 3 gymnasts will most likely have 2-3 years experience in gymnastics and have a good foundation of gymnastics skills. Coach approval is required to register for this class. Gymnasts will attend class two hours a week in order to increase their time spent on each event, body awareness, strength, and flexibility. This class is a "Pre-Team" level and is a great stepping stone to our RECREATIONAL COMPETITIVE TEAM (AAU).

Girls 2

This is the next step after completing our Girls 1 program. Students must have coach approval to register for this class. In this class the gymnast will continue to develop strength, flexibility, coordination and balance while learning more advanced skills. Vault, bars, beam and floor will continue to be utilized as well as trampolines and tumble trak. Students will typically have an average of 1 year formal training before being eligible for this class.

Girls 1

This class is for the beginner gymnast (entering 1st grade & up) who is interested in learning the basics. Development of strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance are taught using a formal gymnastics curriculum. All women’s Olympic Apparatus (vault, bars, beam and floor) will be used along with trampolines, and correct warm-up, stretching and body positions are introduced and used throughout the program.
