Dance

Our Private Lessons prove to be a great way for many different artists AND athletes to use custom lesson time as an opportunity to understand what they need to work on as an individual, study their movements & reactions, and help them prepare for their next challenge- for instance, "audition prep" and or further education for voice, music, dance, pom/cheer,  and/or stronger performance qualities in high school & college programs.

Modern

Form fitting t-shirts or sports tank-tops (preferably black). Form fitting workout pants. Barefeet, paws, or socks are allowed for footwear; instructors will let you know which of these options he or she prefers. In modern class dancers are required to roll/slide on the floor. Long pants are recommended to enable the dancer to move freely.

Tap

Attire for tap is the same as ballet and jazz with black tap shoes.

Jazz

Attire for jazz is the same as ballet with black or tan jazz shoes.

Ballet

Form fitting black t-shirts or sports tank-tops. Black capris/form fitting ankle-length pants (for example running or sports pants). Black or tan ballet shoes.

Level I - III

Level I - III classes for age 6 yrs. old & up are a continuation of our First Steps cirriculum with a more concentrated focus on dance etiquette, steps, combinations, and routines. This progressively advancing form of cirriculum gradually prepares students as they climb through Levels 2 & 3 and extend their class time from 30 mins. to up to 1 hr.

Beginner Tumble

Beginner Tumble classes are offered for ages 6 & up in our Kids Program!

Tumbling

Tumbling is a branch of gymnastics excellent for learning basic balance, coordination, and motor skills. Other benefits include improved flexibility & stamina, as well as discipline & self-confidence. In this class, we will introduce beginner tumbling etiquette, terminology, and exercises. Basic Tumbling classes are offered for age groups 3 - 5 yrs olds.

First Steps

First Steps is a class for ages 3 - 5 yrs old. In this class, we teach modified dance steps along with basic motor skills. Using their imagination and creativity, your child will learn to express themselves with basic dance/ballet moves. A fun & interactive warm-up begins the class, followed by combinations in the center. We end our lesson with steps across the floor, games, and goodbye time. We use dance to teach everyday lessons like taking turns, listening to each other, following directions, and social skills.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots classes for ages 2 - 3 yrs old are geared toward pre tumble lessons along with the exploring nature of your toddler. In this class, we use reinforce basic motor skills to learn about how the body works, spatial awareness, as well as call & response exercises, along with everyday lessons such as taking turns, listening to each other, following directions, and language/communication & social skills.

Munchkin & Me

Munchkin & Me classes for ages 2 - 3 yrs old is a class option for older toddlers who need additional practice before entering a solo participation class. This class is also full of fun, fast-paced and engaging play! Activities are designed to further explore things like basic motor skills (balance & coordination), opposites (Stop and Go), colors, and shapes. We also utilize speech in order to encourage the development of language & social skills, creativity, and confidence.

Step

A modernization of Step classes of yesteryear, this class will leave you wanting more from its combo of cardio/aerobics, body-weight or light weights, dance, and stretch! COME MOVE WITH US!

Tumbling

Line Dance

Our Line Dance classes include learning popular classics as well as new modern takes on this style of group dancing. As with any dance class the benefits of Line Dancing are plenty including making new friends, more enjoyable exercise, easy to learn choreography, no partner necessary, confidence building, and improved sense of well-being, memory, & coordination, not to mention being a great stress reliever!

Stretch, Strengthen, Strive or S3

Stretch, Strengthen, Strive or S3 is a class built on increasing mobility, strength, & quality of life for students of all ages. Tap

Demi-Pointe & Pointe

Pointe is a part of classical ballet in which a female ballet dancer supports all of her body weight on the tips of her toes. Extensive dedication & training is required to develop strength & technique needed to dance En Pointe. Factors such as age, experience, and alignment are key when an Instructor decides to allow a dancer to begin pointe work.

Ballet

Ballet began in the Italian courts and developed into a form of concert dance by King Louis XIV. Ballet class begins at the barre, moves into the center of the room & across the floor, while progressing into more complex movement & combinations, ending the class with jumps.
