Irish Dance

Our Irish Dance classes are pro-rated at an additional fee to include the exciting additional opportunities this program offers! Dancers participate in special events such as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and additional performance opportunities, and receive an exclusive performance sweatshirt. These experiences make our Irish Dance program a truly unique and memorable part of the season!

Floor Barre

For dancers in Ballet Level 3 and up. Ballet technique done on the floor to improve core strength, flexibility, posture, and muscle memory. Class tools required.

Turns & Leaps

Focus on improving turns and leaps for Jazz dancers (ages 6+). Great for extra technique practice and ideal for any Jazz student looking to refine these skills. Must be enrolled in a Jazz class.

Adaptive Dance

Inclusive class for children with special needs. A fun, supportive environment where dancers learn the basics of Jazz, Hip Hop, and Musical Theatre. If interested in taking Adaptive Dance, please contact info@vision-dance.com . We hope to add this class for the Spring Recital Session.

Pointe

For dancers who have completed Pre-Pointe and have been approved for Pointe shoes. Focus on strength, balance, and technique from barre to center work, progressing at each dancer’s individual pace. Pointe shoes required.

Pre-Pointe

For Ballet Level 3 and up. Prepares dancers for Pointe work with exercises focusing on alignment, balance, and strength. Resistance bands required.

Conditioning, Flex & Stretch

Focuses on proper stretching techniques to increase flexibility and prevent injury. Includes conditioning to support overall dance performance.

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT)

For Ballet Level 3 and up. A conditioning program using ballet-specific exercises to enhance muscle memory, technique, and skill acquisition. Class tools required.

Poms
$15 fee for personal poms (recital session only)

Cheer-inspired routines with pom motions, kick-lines, and sharp, energetic movement. Enrollment in Poms classes is based on age. $15 fee for personal poms (recital session only)

Musical Theatre

Broadway-style dance focused on storytelling through movement, facial expressions, and performance presence. Enrollment in Musical Theatre classes is based on age.

Lyrical

Combines fluid, expressive movement with strong technique. Lyrical blends ballet and jazz to tell a story through motion. Enrollment in Lyrical classes is based on age. Recommended: 1+ year of ballet or jazz.

Hip Hop

High-energy class teaching the fundamentals of hip hop: isolations, rhythm, footwork, and strength. Enrollment in Hip Hop classes is based on age. Kid-friendly music and choreography.

Irish Dance

Introductory class focusing on rhythm, posture, and soft shoe technique (Jig & Reel). No prior experience needed. Our Irish Dance classes are pro-rated at an additional fee to include the exciting additional opportunities this program offers! Dancers participate in special events such as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and additional performance opportunities, and receive an exclusive performance sweatshirt. These experiences make our Irish Dance program a truly unique and memorable part of the season! Non-competitive, performance-based. Irish dance shoes required.

Intermediate Irish Dance

Intermediate Irish Dance class focusing on rhythm, posture, and soft shoe technique (Jig & Reel). Approval is required for enrollment in Intermediate Irish Dance. Contemporary

Leveled Contemporary classes are placement-based. Focuses on fluid and expressive movement. Contemporary fuses ballet, modern, and jazz with improvisation. Advancement through levels is determined by the instructor. Level 2+ by approval only.

Ballet

Leveled Ballet classes are placement-based. Classes consist of classical training with emphasis on alignment, turnout, and technique. Includes barre, center work, and combinations. Advancement through levels is determined by the instructor. Level 2+ by approval only.

Tap

Leveled Tap classes are placement-based. Focuses on rhythm and sound created by the feet. Students learn tap vocabulary, timing, and choreography. Advancement through levels is determined by the instructor. Level 2+ by approval only.

Jazz

Leveled Jazz classes are placement-based. A dynamic style emphasizing rhythm, isolations, and expressive movement. Builds strength, coordination, and style. Advancement through levels is determined by the instructor. Level 2+ by approval only.

Ballet/Jazz/Lyrical

This class combines three popular dance techniques, ballet, jazz, and lyrical. Dancers will get equal exposure to all styles. Jazz shoes are required.

Jazz/Tap Combo Class

This class provides equal training in jazz and tap technique, allowing dancers to further their skills in both styles. Jazz and tap shoes are required.

Jazz/Hip Hop Combo Class

This class provides equal training in jazz and hip hop technique, allowing dancers to further their skills in both styles. Jazz shoes are required. Black sneakers may be required for recital.

Energetic hip hop class with age-appropriate music and moves. Jazz shoes are okay for class; solid black sneakers required for recital.

Little Shamrocks

Beginner-friendly intro to Irish dance. Students learn rhythm, basic form, and beginner Irish dance steps. Black ballet shoes required.

Tiny Dreamers

An introduction to dance using games and songs to teach rhythm, movement, and basic ballet. Focus on motor skills, coordination, and balance. Ballet shoes required. Great for “new” 3-year-olds.
