Preschool

This level is designed for students ages 3-5. To move up to the mini level, students must be able to do all of the following: forward roll, backward roll down mat, beginner cartwheel, table top, understand turn taking and demonstrate good listening skills.

Mommy & Me

This is an interactive adult and child gymnastics class. Adults will help the children through different gymnastics stations. To move independent classes, students must be able to demonstrate the ability to remain with their class, participate in stations, take turns, have good listening skills, and be potty trained.

Tumbling and Gymnastics Levels

Students need to be proficient at all skills in their level before being promoted to the next level. Proper progressions increase the safety of your child and allow them to feel success for each new skill they accomplish. Students enrolled in tumbling classes will only work on tumbling skills. Students enrolled in gymnastics classes will tumble, but will also practice on the bars and balance beams. New students or students with difficulty with taking turns and following directions may need to start in a younger age group. More experienced and advanced students may be ready to move into a class with older students earlier than the recommended age. Some students moving out of the mini level may be ready to skip level 1 or even level 2. Mini through level 2 classes work on overlapping skills, but are divided by age. Students need to show that they have consistently mastered all skills with good form in order to move up to the next level. Gymnastics and tumbling classes both work on tumbling skills. Gymnastics classes also have additional events, bars and balance beams, while tumbling classes only work on tumbling.

Dance Combo Classes

Classes will incorporate two or more styles within one class. Our younger students will have a ballet and jazz combo, and our older students will have a ballet and lyrical combo, with jazz as a separate class.

Mommy and Me Gymnastics

Share in all of the smiles that come along with new experiences. This interactive class will introduce the basics of tumbling, bars and balance beam. It will allow young children to begin to understand the structure of a class, and to improve listening and turn taking skills.

Gymnastics

Improves strength, coordination, and flexibility while teaching tumbling moves and using bars and balance beams.

Cheer

This class will introduce and improve all aspects of cheerleading including tumbling, stunts, jumps, cheers, motions, and routines.

Dance Levels

Our dance technique classes are divided into four levels. Level one typically begins around 7 years old for dancers who have taken mini classes, or 8-9 years old for new dancers. Classes will incorporate a variety of techniques, and will be more structured than the younger bitty and mini classes. Classes above level 1 will be through teacher recommendation.

Mini Dance Classes

Mini dance classes are designed for dancers ages 5-8. Some dancers may be able to begin or complete the mini level at a younger age based on their experience, ability, and listening skills. Mini classes will begin to introduce more dance technique than the bitty level, but will still maintain the song and dance style teaching method and incorporate props and games.

Bitty Ballet/Tiny Tap

These beginner dance classes are designed for children ages 3-5. They introduce the basic techniques of ballet and tap in a fun, friendly and age appropriate environment. To move to the mini level, students must be able to show good listening skills and turn taking, and be able to remember dance choreography at an age appropriate level.

Acrobatic Dance (Acro)

This dance style combines the techniques and movements of dance with tumbling, contortion and partner tricks. There is a heavy emphasis on flexiblity in this class. Children under 7 will need a teacher recommendation, and will need to know how to do a bridge.
