Classes

ADVANCED PRESCHOOL TUMBLE, HOTSHOTS TUMBLE

Get ready to flip, twist, and tumble your way to fun and fitness! Our "advanced preschool" and "hotshots" tumbling class is designed for younger children showing good focus, flexibility, strength and ready to learn and master fundamental tumbling skills. Students will develop coordination while learning basic to advanced tumbling passes, including cartwheels, round-offs, and back handsprings. In a safe and supportive environment, our experienced instructors will guide students through progressive, skill-building exercises, conditioning drills, and mini-trampoline training. This class is perfect for those who want to improve their tumbling technique, build confidence, and enhance their overall athleticism.

TUMBLE LEVEL 3, 3/4

This class is for the student who is ready to move on from the intermediate level of tumbling. The prerequisites for this class include 2 back handspring, back handspring step out, round off 2 back handsprings, and back walkover-back handspring. In this class, students will work on the following, but not limited to, these advanced skills, toe touch back handspring, back tuck, series back handspring 2 tucks, and cartwheel/round off through tuck. The required skills to move on to the elite level are a standing tuck, a round off back handspring back tuck, and front tuck.

TUMBLING LEVEL 2, 2/3

This class is for the student who is ready to move on from the Beginner level of tumbling. The prerequisites for this class are to have a standing back walkover, round off and a handstand forward roll. In this class, the skills that will be worked on include, but are not limited to, back handsprings, front walkover handsprings, series back handsprings and step-outs, and cartwheel/round-off back handsprings. The required skills to advance to the advanced level are mastering 2 back handsprings, back handspring step out, round off 2 back handsprings, and back walkover-back handspring.

TUMBLE LEVEL 1

This class is an introduction to tumbling techniques. Students will learn beginner terminology and its corresponding actions/skills including forward roll, handstand, cartwheel, and bridges. They will further define gross motor skills and work on basic conditioning. The required skills to advance to the intermediate level are mastering round off, back walk over and handstand forward roll.

PRESCHOOL TUMBLE

This class is an introduction to tumbling technique. Students will learn beginner terminology and its corresponding actions/skills. They will further define gross motor skills and work on basic conditioning.

ACRO NINJA

This class is a combination of tumbling, parkour, obstacle course, and strength training. Those who want to have fun and be challenged will love this class!

BALLET REC

In our ballet classes, we believe in nurturing the development of the student by instilling a strong foundation and working knowledge of the technique, maintaining an exceptional work ethic, and discipline that will help them thrive in all aspects of life.

TOT & ME

Students will improve gross motor skills, social skills, and musicality by learning basic dance techniques in a classroom setting.

JAZZ FUNK

Students will learn technique, terminology, and skills used in jazz dance. They will develop and refine body alignment while gaining strength through fast-paced movement, The class will utilize progressions across the floor, building up to center jazz combinations. Jazz 1 is for 1st /2nd-year dancers. Jazz 2 is for dancers with 2-3 years of jazz experience. Jazz 3 is for 11-13-year-old dancers with 3-4 years of jazz experience. Jazz 4 is for 13+-year-old dancers with 4+ years of experience. AGES 6+

Hip Hop 1/2, 2, 2/3

HIP HOP 1-3

Students will begin exploring weight shifts and body positions specific to hip hop dance. This class focuses on rhythm development, which adds character and personality to further elevate the dance of this style. See Jazz description for class level breakdown. HIP HOP 1-3: AGES 5+

CONTEMPORARY 1/2 & CONTEMPORARY JAZZ

This class combines technical skill with legato extensions and showmanship. Dancers will develop and identify syncopation in movement and its relationship to the music. The class will progress across the floor and typically end with a combination. See jazz description for class level breakdown. AGES 6+

DANCE COMBO 2

The Combo 2 is taught in the same combination as the previous- jazz, tap, and ballet instruction. The class will move at a more rapid pace, requiring heightened focus and familiarity with the steps. At least 1 year of dance experience is required, including tap. AGES 6-9

DANCE COMBO 1

Dancers will learn a combination of jazz, tap, and ballet with each section lasting twenty minutes. Students will learn introductory movements in each technique to create a foundation for progression. This class will also incorporate organizing steps into combinations. No prior dance experience is required. AGES 5-8

KINDERKOMBO

This class is an introduction to ballet, jazz, and tumbling techniques. Students will learn beginner dance terminology and its corresponding positions as well as actions. They will further define gross motor skills and improve musicality and rhythm. AGES 3-5

PRESCHOOL DANCE

This class is a 30 minute class that will introduce your child to ballet and jazz technique. Students will learn beginner dance terminology and its corresponding positions as well as actions. They will further define gross motor skills and improve musicality and rhythm. AGES 3-5
