KinderArts was created to invite young children to explore the visual and performing arts via hands-on experiences. Each week, our KinderArts instructor brings yoga, music and movement sessions to elementary age students in their schools. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the KinderArts program created a series of Craft Along Videos with instructor Nia Aretakis, featuring simple-to-follow projects.

Katie Melancon’s Gentle Flow Yoga is offered both at Eastport Arts Center, and online. The accessible class offers benefits to all students in strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation. Some props are available to bring more ease into attendees’ yoga practice.

EAC’s World and Contemporary Dance Group enjoys learning modern and classic international dances from around the globe, including Pata Pata and Jerusalem, along with line dances. Providing both a great form of exercise and an engaging new skill, the class is offered on a drop-in basis; no preregistration is necessary.
