Intermediate Technique

You should also be comfortable moving with some rhythm and picking up choreography at a moderate pace, as there is more choreography taught than Beginner Hip-Hop. Beginner Hip-Hop
Our Beginner Hip-Hop 1 courses focus on teaching foundational moves such as the two-step, body rolls, sliding, popping, locking, and basic footwork. Students will also learn the importance of rhythm, musicality, and performance, all while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. Our experienced instructors prioritize technique, creativity, and self-expression, ensuring that each student develops a strong foundation in hip-hop dance.
Drop-in Dance Class
We offer the ability to drop into our ongoing dance courses, although we do not consider ourselves to be a drop-in studio because of our curriculum. If you do decide to drop-in, we recommend dropping in for a Part 1 or Part 2 class so you do not feel too behind on the choreography. Drop-ins are intended for those who have an unpredictable schedule, and we definitely still welcome you to do so!
Ongoing Monthly Dance Classes
Our lesson kicks off with warm-ups and foundational exercises, followed by the first segment of choreography. This class lays the groundwork for the dance piece. We'll review the choreography taught in Part 1 and then introduce new choreography to add to the routine. Students refine dance moves and expand their dance vocabulary as we progress forward! We'll take a comprehensive look at the choreography learned in both Part 1 and Part 2, ensuring everyone is comfortable with the steps. Students will then learn the final segment of choreography, completing this month's dance routine. The studio is transformed with colorful lighting, setting the stage for a celebration of your progress and dedication. During Part 4, we focus on perfecting the full dance routine, with instructors assisting students in refining their stylization and polishing details.
